He is listed in the 1830 Census of Liberty, Clinton, OH.
He was listed as aged 30-39 with a son aged 5-9 and 2 females aged 15-19. This implies he was not 43, but 53 when he died, thus born in 1797.

I believe Okey was related to Josiah Clawson, born 1769, who lived in in New Jersey, West Virginia, Allen Co., OH and later Marshall, IL. I think Okey is probably Josiah's oldest son. Has anyone made a connection between them?
Given the rarity of the name Okey, though speculative I think Josiah's wife may have been a daughter of Okey Stevenson and Maria Mulford. The family lived in Somerset County, NJ and had children baptized at the Dutch Reformed Church of Harlingen, Somerset Co., NJ in the 1760s. Though they did not have a known daughter named Geertje/Charity, Maria Mulford's mother was Geertje Fonteyn, so Geertje would be a likely daughter.
Does anyone have any information on Josiah Clawson's wife?
Thanks in advance.
Mike Morrissey
