I am looking for information on Lucinda/Cinderella Clawson, born 1818, in Kentucky. She lived in Ohio at one point, after marrying William Knapp, and they had at least 4 children. By 1850, she was in Indiana and widowed. Shortly afterwards, she married William McPherson. I have her place of birth listed as Lexington but no idea who her parents were. One census said her father was born in Germany and her mother in Ireland.
Any help would be appreciated.

My relatives couldn't give me much more information about my great-great grandfather than you already have. All I really got was that Grandad Sloniger's fathers name was "William" and that his father's name was "Daniel". John B. "Bert" Sloniger and Vernie Lewis Sloniger had 7 children that lived past infancy. My father is Kenneth Lewis, #6 of 7.
What's been really surprising in researching my surname is how far back it goes, and how geographically spread out it is. I thought that all of my kin were in Western PA, but I've corresponded with them in TX, AR, CA and CO. Very fascinating, especially since it's a rather unique surname. Thanks a lot for the confirmation.
The only info I have on John Houston Clawson is: date of birth--10 Apr 1878,
and married Luraney Elizabeth Rogers. She was born Apr 1880 and died 10 Oct
1966 Kerr County, Texas. I'm interested to know more about them. I have no
children listed for them.

What do you know about the grandparents of John Berton SLONIGER? I have Daniel SLONIGER m. Eleanor Elizabeth BUSH and Ellen PORTER. I am hoping you can shed some light on our ancestors.
I am descended from the above through Daniel Joseph "Joe" SLONIGER m. Mary Hannah MCMANUS, then through Bessie Ella SLONIGER m. Emmet McClure "Clure" BOWSER, then Violet Lucille BOWSER m. Kenneth Emmet SMITH.
Who are your parents?
There are others researching this family who would love your input. Thanks!

Hi Tammy,
I'm interested in the family of John Houston Clawson (1878-1952), son of Daniel Calvin Clawson. I'm a Rogers descendant from Llano, Llano County, Texas and I'm looking for any information on John's wife Luraney Elizabeth "Lizzie" Rogers (1880-1966) and her family, trying to find out if our two Rogers families were possibly connected. She was the daughter of William & Mary Ann Rogers (1842-1926) but that is all that I know at this time. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
