Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb
Hello List ! Meg Greenwood here, the Administrator [List Lassie] for
this Rootsweb Surname Mailing List.
Rootsweb recently changed its filtering process to cause fewer spam
messages to be sent to Admins. We either manually deleted them, or
waited for them to time out of the 'Blocked Mail' box for this List.
The change caused a few glitches, we were asked to check our Lists for
Blocked Messages that might not be spam, but legitimate messages.
This List had no problem with lost or blocked messages. Just to keep
you current with the status of this List, here is some information about
it and how to get information on other Lists. Anyone can check the
Archives of any Rootsweb List without subscribing, its how many of us
find others seeking the same families.
This List doesn't have much mail to contend with, if you should need to
unsub for awhile, don't forget that you can always read all the Posts
since this List began by going to its homepage below and Browsing the
Archives. However, to Post a message, you will need to be subscribed in
either List mode [one message at a time] or Digest mode [small packet of
messages at once]. You can subscribe to List and Digest [both], or
select either one.
Currently there are 3 subscribers in List mode, 2 in Digest mode.

Post your names of interest if you haven't done so in awhile. Make sure
the subject line of your Post shows a CLAVIJO name.
My CLAVIJO interest is for a friend whose links are to a CLAVIJO born in
New Orleans, Louisiana, USA in the 1920s, censuses show that person was
born in the Canary Islands of Spain in 1887.
