Recently I found a relative, Julia C. Claussen, in the Directory of
Jacksonville State Hospital Patients, 1854-1870, on the Morgan Co. Area
website www.rootsweb.com/~ilmaga/mc-sh_adm-c.html and I thought someone
might recognize this patient's name:
Pamelia (or Parmelia) Claussen, age 25 (b. abt. 1842), born Germany,
resident of Cook Co., IL; admitted 1867 and released 1869.
The Jacksonville, IL State Hospital drew patients from all counties in IL.

Looking for any information on my husband's uncle, Otto Herman Claussen, b.
IA 1898, moved to California and died in Chula Vista CA in 1981. His known
children were Leta, Vera and Harvey who would all be in their 80's if still
alive.
