John Clauss was the son of Joseph Clauss and Catherine Laugel. He was probably born in or around Vincennes, IN. He married a Minnie Layton, and they lived in Vanderburgh Co., IN in 1892 and possibly even in later years. They had 1 daughter, who may have been adopted. Her name was either Anna or Bertha, but I believe it was Bertha. She may have married a Frank Fisher. Bertha possibly lived in Miami, FL.Family records have an address for Minnie Clauss on Eichel Ave in Evansville, IN. There is also an address for a Mrs. Frank Fisher in Miami. Any help will be appreciated.

seeking information on the wife of Michael Clauss. All I have is that her name was Maude. I do not know her maiden name, birth date, their marriage date or her death date. Mike Clauss is buried in Vincennes, IN. They had no children. I am told Maude remarried to a George Miller. Is anyone related to her?
