"George REX and Agnes W. KRAUSS were married by Rev. George A. GREISS,
of Allentown, on Sunday. Miss KRAUSS is a daughter of Enos KRAUSS, of
near East Greenville."
[Research Note: the date for Sunday would have been 6 July 1902, while
the Schwenkfelder source has 5 July 1902] In 1919 William was employed
as a cotton mill superintendent and the family lived at R.F.D. No. 2,
Allentown, PA. This address is the same one listed by his father-in-law
in 1919.
Agnes N. Krauss13, daughter of Enos S. KRAUSS and Hannah Elizabeth
NUSS, was born on 22 Feb 1878.3 She died before 29 Mar 1928 at the age
of 50 in probably Allentown, Lehigh, PA.4 See notice at the Greenwood

David Krauss, Mrs. John Stoudt, Mrs. William Carl, Mrs. Lydia Diehl,
Mrs. William Clauser, Mrs. V. Kunzman and Laura Krauss, all of this
city; and Oliver Krauss,.." [remainder is missing from file copy].
She has reference number [F 11-353].1 The newspaper source identifies
her as "Agnes W. Krauss," while the 1923 source identifies her as "Agnes
N. Krauss."

Hi Raymond,
Sue from this list sent me the Rex listings from Greenwood Cemetery.
I've listed it below. Do you have any info on the William Rex that
you have married to Agnes? Did he die about 1940? Could he be the
"runaway" William Rex? The newspaper article mentions two brothers-in-
law, David & George Krause. "Mrs. V. Kunzman" could be the "Mrs.
Elizabeth Kunsman," sister-in-law, from the Morning Call article??? I
don't have the the earlier generation of Walter Rex/Matilda Woodring
in my database yet even though I have 8 Walter Rex's!
Interested in your (and anyone else's thoughts in this on-going
mystery!)
