Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb

Donna Mae (Sorensen) Baurichter Klauser
1922-2007
Donna Mae Sorensen Baurichter Klauser went home to live with her Lord
Jesus Christ on April 14, 2007. Throughout her life her faith in God was
the main source of her strength and her mission was to be God's witness
to everyone she met.
She spent her life sharing Christ's love with her family, friends and
patients alike. In her last months, she was blessed with many new
friends at Harbor Place community in Gig Harbor. Her family is so
grateful for the love and care she received during this time from the
staff and friends at Harbor Place and from Dr. Senecal.
Donna was born Aug. 11, 1922 to Martin and Olivia Sorensen in Wagner, SD.
Donna graduated from Saint Luke's Nursing School in Duluth, MN in 1943.
For over thirty years she worked in various areas of nursing, from
maternity wards to rehabilitation. She was a pioneer in the field of
rehabilitation at Good Samaritan Hospital in Puyallup, WA. She worked to
improve access for the disabled in public facilities and trans-portation.
Donna was preceded in death by her first husband, Melvin Michael
Baurichter; her second husband, Henry Corbin Klauser; and six Sorensen
brothers and sisters: Marie, Esther Ramsdell, Eunice Barkley, Lillian
DeJonge, Robert, and Edna Beglin.
Donna is survived by her brother, John Sorensen (Doris); her
sister-in-law and Saint Luke's Nursing School classmate Lillian
Sorensen; her children Don (Jeanie), Jim (Mary), Nancy (Henry), Norman
(Jan) and Bruce (Gayle); her "adopted" son David Cheek; eleven
grandchild-ren and eight great-grandchildren.
The memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 21, 2007 at 2:00
p.m. at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Winlock, WA.
