Catherine L. Clauser
Catherine L. Clauser, 87, of Emmaus, died Sunday, October 22, 2006, in her home. Her husband, George O. Clauser, died in 1976. Born in Emmaus, she was the daughter of the late Calvin and Sally (Hoch) Gangewere. She was a member of United Church of Christ Congregation of Western Salisbury Union Church. She was employed as a sewing machine operator for R&F Dress Company for 10 years before retiring. Previously, she worked for various clothing manufactures in the area. Survivors: Son, Glenn G. and wife Cheryl of Macungie; daughters, Martha Jane Kline of Winter Garden, Fla., Barbara A. Sweitzer and husband Mark Jr. of Bristol, Conn., Millidine F. Waterman and husband Harry of Hereford; 10 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, six great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Niel Kline, and a great-grandson, Thomas. Krescentia "Senta" (Hammer) Klauser
CHATHAM - Krescentia ''Senta'' (Hammer) Klauser, 97, of Chatham, died Wednesday, October 11, 2006, in Liberty Commons Nursing Home, Chatham.
She was the wife of the late Maximilian Klauser, who passed away in 1988.
Born, raised and educated in Traunstein, Germany, Senta immigrated to the United States in the mid-1920s. She married Mr. Klauser in 1928 and settled in Westchester, N.Y.
Senta assisted in her late husband's architectural business in Scarsdale, N.Y., until they moved to Chatham in the early 1950s. Once in Chatham, the Klausers constructed and operated the Dolphin's Inn, Chatham, retiring in 1971.
She was an avid seamstress and gardener.
Services were private.
Memorial donations may be made in her memory to the Broad Reach Hospice, 390 Orleans Road, Chatham, MA 02633.
Arrangements made under the direction of the Nickerson Funeral Home, 87 Crowell Road, Chatham, MA, 508-945-1166.

Alvin Lawrence Klauser
KLAUSER Alvin Lawrence Klauser age 83, of LaGrange, Mo., went to be with the Lord at 9:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 30, 2006, at his home in LaGrange. He was born October 12, 1922, in Quincy, a son of Robert and Josephine (Huber) Klauser. He married Irene Mast on May 8, 1946, in St. John's Catholic Church in Quincy. She died March 26, 2005. Mr. Klauser was a farmer. He attended St. Francis Grade School. He was a longtime member of LaGrange Notre Dame Parish and he attended St. Boniface Catholic Church. Recently he rejoined his childhood parish, St. Francis Church in Quincy. He enjoyed fishing , hunting, playing cards and going to the casino. Survivors include: a son, Dr. Mike Klauser, DVM and his wife Kathy of Keokuk, Iowa; three daughters, Betty Bronestine and her husband Verne of Quincy, Ill., Judy Bell and her husband Dale of Bowen, Ill., Barbara Hartman and her husband Larry of New Bloomfield, Mo.; ten grandchildren, Randy Bronestine and his wife Linda of Quincy, Ill., Michel
le Gengenbacher and her husband Randy of Quincy, Ill., Steve Bronestine of St. Louis, Mo., Shawn Klauser and his wife Amelia of Albuquerque, N.M., Nate Klauser and his wife Natalie of Peoria, Ill., Tim Kincaid of Quincy, Ill., Melissa and Amy Bell of Bowen, Ill., Jeremy Sparks and his wife Amanda of Ulman, Mo., Sheila Schmidt and her husband Curtis of Holts Summit, Mo.; nine great-grandchildren, Jenny Virden of Chicago, Ill., Gabby and Robert Virden of Quincy, Ill.; Bailey, Aryiel, and Sailor Gengenbacher of Quincy, Ill., Kevin and James Sparks of Ulman, Mo., and Julian Curtis of Holts Summit, Mo.; one great-great-grandchild, Dillonn Tasco of Quincy, Ill; two brothers, Ernie Klauser and Harold Klauser of Mendon; a sister, Dorothy Klauser of Fowler, Ill.; many nieces and nephews also survive. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, two brothers, Leonard and Robert Klauser, a brother in infancy, Jackie Klauser and two sisters, Mildred Schreacke and Bernice Bockhold.
Funeral services were held on Wednesday, October 4, 2006, at 11:00 a.m. in the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home and at 11:30 a.m. in St. Francis Solanus Catholic Church. Celebrants were Rev. Kurt Hartrich, O.F.M. and Rev. John Carberry. Interment was in Calvary Cemetery. Memorials may be made to St. Francis Catholic Church or to the donor's choice.

catharine, married john fisher, she lived with her daughter mrs. willliam
fry, in hereford tw., anna married mr. mest, elias, frederick born 1826,,
elizabeth married daniel repprt and lived in chester, pa., magdalena, w/o
george de long. frederick edinger was born 1826 and was killed in mine
explosion at emaus, lehigh co., buried at bally. he married sophia miller,
born 1827, died 1902. children; herny, annie, edwin, amanda, jerone, mary,
frederick and lizzie.
elias edinger, s/o peter was born in washington twp., april 29, 1822, died
jan. 5., 1892. he married mary clauser, d/o george and catharine (moser)
clauser. children; hannah, w/o william "kummerer", william c., mary ann to
jacob hatfield of pottstown, catharine married horace herbst, john of
boyertown, morris of barto, obediah of earl, elllen married francis wentzel
of pottstwn and frank of earl twp.
william c. edinger, was born in berks co. on oct. 2, 1870 married mary

Geri, I believe CORRELL is also GORELL, and that these families
intermarried. John GORRELL PA, married /1 Hannh then went to KY. She died
and later he married Anne GREEN, d/o Zachariah, Bath Co., KY.
John went to Parke Co., IN where he lived for some time, then went back to
Bath Co., and died. Zachariah died in 1830. John had RWS in PA.
