Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb
As most of you know, I have messages from any Rootsweb mailing list bounced
to me if the name Clauser appears in it. When that happens, I forward it to
this list. Here is one that arrived today. Enjoy!

> HENRY PFISTER Henry Pfister passed away on Saturday, January 22, 2005.
Henry, known to friends and family as Hank, was 78 years old. Hank was born
on April 14, 1926, in rural Fresno County. His parents, David and Katherine
Elizabeth Pfister had ten children, four of whom preceded Hank in death.
Hank was retired from the Fresno Unified School District, after having
worked at various school sites for 31 years. He and Doris are longtime
members of Trinity Lutheran Church. They enjoyed trips to the desert and to
the coast, as well as to Northern California to visit Stan and his family.
His favorite things were gardening, camping and watching Nascar races. He
leaves behind Doris his wife of 57 years; along with their children, Kathy
Echols, Stan Pfister, Jim Pfister and Steve Pfister; seven grandchildren and
two great-grand children. He is also survived by brothers, Gottlieb Pfister
and Bob Pfister; and by sisters, Emilie McNeeley, Ruth Robinson and Betty
Ruyle. A Memorial Servi

> I think these are the parents of my John Milton Kelchner. They had
Rebecca born 25 May 1810, John 5 Feb 1812, and Betty 20 June 1813. These
records are from the St. Michael's Reformed Church in Tilden, PA. There is
also a Daniel Kelchner and wife Catharine (Clauser?) and they have children
Elizabeth born 12 April 1810 and a Catharine born 30 April 1812. A
Catharine Kelchner is the sponser for Jacob's daughter Rebecca. I need help
figuring out this line any help would be great!
