1880 Tremont PA Wlm & Bridget Brobst son George 15 daug. Genevieve 4 (several other children)
1880 Pottsville PA Philip & Susan Clauser son George 13
which brings us closer to finding parents of George Brobst

George was living with his aunt & Uncle (Clauser's) in 1920, as was his sister Virginia, age 12.
His gr-parents were Wlm & Bridget, which means his father was either George, Charles, Alfred or most likely Michael, but I haven't been able to place them together yet!

in 1816 to Elizaeth Rinker, who was born Oct 8, 1787 and died Feb 7,

as a Captain of a company in the War of 1812, and his wife Gertrude.
II. Children; Mrs. Eliza Washburn; Mrs. Henry E. Kuhe; Thomas born 1820,
died 1899, and Henry
Millers of Lynn township
The ancestor of the Miller family orginating in the northwestern part of
Lehigh county, was Christian Miller Sr., born in Switzerland, emigrated
to PA, settled in Longswamp, Berks County. He then located to Lynn
township. Because of the French and Indian war, went back to Berks Co.,
later he returned to Lynn township. He was married at Longswamp and had
2 sons; Andrew and Christian
Andrew, was born 1748. He lived on the south side of Schochary in Lynn
township. He married 1st to Magdalena Seiberling, 2nd Anna Elizabeth
Schneider. Children; Maria, Catharine, who married Andrew Straub, and
John Miller, Maria married John Dieter Heintzleman, and Catharine who
married Samuel Kistler.
Ringer-Rinker
John Ringer, was born Dec 8, 1775 and died Dec 19, 1831. He and his son
John died each in their 45th year. His wife Elizabeth Remaly, born June
16, 1787 and died May 2, 1853. Children; John, Jonas, Edward and Maria.
John Jr. was born Nov 28, 1810 and died Oct 10, 1865, he married
Magdalena Wotring. Children; Mary Ann, lived with her sister, M.
Messina, Elizabeth married George Frederick, John, Sarah A., married
George Knecht, Francis, and James, both of Slatington.
George Ringer, farmer of N. Whitehall, his wife Elizabeth Ritter. Both
are buried at Egypt. Children; Jacob, Daniel, born Aug, 1796, died in
1872, his wife Salome Ringer was born 1795 and died 1873, William who
lived near Rising Sun, Geroge, John who lived in the West, Sallie who
married Samuel Snyder, Catharine, married Stephen Lentz, Polly married
Christian Troxell.
Jacob Ringer, son of George lived near Ballietsville. He married Polly
Schneck. They had two sons, Lewis who died in his 25th and Harrison who
died the same day as his father.
Harrison Ringer, was born near Ballietsville. His married Amanda Smith.
Children;; Lillie, married Benjamin Clauser, and Rosa who married Peter
W. Deibert
Henry P. Ringer, born in S. Whitehall township, married Ida C. Lerch,
d/o Reuben and Elizabeth (Lazarus) Lerch. Children; Reuben H., Raymond I
and Roy H.
Charles V. B. Rinker, born Oct 1, 1836, married Jan 29, 1857 to Sarah
Meeker, at the Presbyterian church. Mrs. Rinker, was born March 18,
1839, her father being J. D. Meeker, being the county sheriff at the
time. Mr. Rinker's grandfather, Abraham Rinker was sheriff of Lehigh
county. They had one son, Wm.
