I have info on the following families in Berks Co. and environs, from a book
privately published by Beulah Blair c. 1960:
Albrecht, Alspach, Althouse, Baer, Balthaser, Berger, Boyer, Brumback,
Clauser-Klauser, Goettel, Faust, Fisher, Haas, Henne, Hettinger, Hix-Hicks,
Hoffman, Kalbach, Kauffman, Kerschner, Klein, Miller, Nunnomacher, Potteiger,
Reber-Raeber, Pentschler, Riegal, Schertel, Seaman, Spatz, Wagner, Yerger,
Yodel.
I just obtained the death certificate for Rosa Ann Heberly Clauser. She
was the wife to Joseph William Clauser. Rosa died in Bucks Co.,
Springfield Twp., Pennsylvania on 11/2/1932. Her residence at the time was
near Coopersburg. Her son Robert J. S. Clauser who lived at R. 1,
Coopersburg, Pennsylvania, was the informant. It shows Rosa's parents as
Solomon Heberly (birthplace: PA) and Clarissa Haas (birthplace: PA). She
is buried at Fairview Cemetery in Allentown, PA.
I can't speak for any others, but I surely would love to have more information from Al.
Can anyone tell me if he is the Al Clowser from Lewisburg, West Virginia? I will be
attending a reunion there this coming June 9 & 10 (I believe).
I am a descendant of Henry Clouser who died in an Indian Raid on June 1, 1764.
Would appreicate any information on any Clauser/Clowser/Klauser (on and on) from anyone!

The following information came from Al Clauser--posted at FamilyHistory.com
on the Clauser message board. He has given me permission to send it to the
mailing list.
I hope others will start sending their information to the mailing list so
that we can all benefit from it. I'm feeling lonely out here with
practically no one else sending messages to the mailing list. Please do
let us hear from you at CLAUSER-L(a)rootsweb.com.
Subject: Catherine Clauser

Message: Came across a Catherine while searching for ancestors of Amos
Clauser.I sort of doubt that this Catherine is the one you are seeking, but
maybe this will help some. She was born abt. 1795 in PA, was the daughter
of Philip Adam Clauser and Anna Marie Althouse, who were pretty prolific
having 5 daughters and six sons.Let me know if you would like additional
info. on this family.
I am at an impass in my search for parents, and grandparents of Amos
Clauser (1798-1856)born in Eastern PA and buried in Lehigh County, PA. I am
trying to relate Amos to Hance Jorik Klauser(Klause) who arrived in
Phila.on the Ship Allen, Sept.1729, or to Matthias Clous(Mathias Clous,
Matteas Clauser) on Ship Samuel Aug.1739 or to Jacob Clowser(Clauser,
Clausser) on Ship St. Andrew
in Phila Oct. 1743, or to Jacob or Henry Clauser on Ship Osgood on Sept. 1756.
Perhaps during your search you might come across something I can use. If so
please let me know.
Thanks and good luck to you on your research.
