You are 100% right in that we are getting pictures of people and houses! The response to our efforts has been overwhelming. We have had over 50 different descendant families respond, many with pictures and stories. We are researching the community group, not just the family group. We are finding so much information about where the families went and why they left. All of the information collected will be available to the public through the UMD web site and through a collection called "The New Philadelphia Collection" at the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library.
