Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb

No - unfortunately not...although I suppose he could have remarried. My grandmother's name was Dorothy. And they had a daughter together - who is my mother.

West Chazy — Mr. Harold L. Clausen, 72, of Route 22 died Saturday, Feb. 5, 2000, at the CVPH Medical Center.
He was born in Plattsburgh on Dec. 30, 1927, the son of the late Charles and Linnie (Pardy) Clausen Sr.
Harold retired from Georgia Pacific in 1990, after 31 years of service. He was a veteran of Korea, serving in the U. S. Army. Harold was an avid hunter and fisherman.
Harold is survived by his wife of 45 years, Mary (Clarke) Clausen of West Chazy; one son and a daughter-in-law, Edward and Linda Clausen of West Chazy; seven daughters and three sons-in-law, Connie and Emil Martin of West Chazy, Janet and Vance Daunheimer of Beaver Creek, Ohio, Carol and Dickie Brown of Plattsburgh, Diana Clausen and her fiance, Don Zimmers, of Plattsburgh, Donna Clausen and her fiance, Gilbert LaValley, of Plattsburgh, Barbara Clausen of Chazy and Joyce Clausen of West Chazy; a sister, Dorothy Rogers of Plattsburgh; a brother and his companion, Glen Clausen and Patricia Skelton of Plattsburgh; 11 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Harold was predeceased by three brothers, Charles, Gerald and Carl; and three sisters, Vera, Florence and Effie.
Calling hours will be Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Brown Funeral Home Plattsburgh. A funeral service will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at the Weslyan Church in West Chazy.
