Looking for info on Knud Laudsen Clausen (b.14/Apr/1866...d.1959) married to Maria Catherine Hansen (b.10/Oct/1868...d.1912) Son August Clausen of Iowa, married to Alma Schmidt.
Parents are Peter Clausen and Elsa Knudsen.
Grand Parents are Knud Lauritsen Osterdaard and Karin Nielsdatter Debel.
Great grandparents are Niels Klassen (b.1785...d.1862) married Elizabeth Petersen(b.15/Apr/1792...d.1883). Son is Knud Lauritsen Osterdaard (b.25/Sept/1801...d.1864) married Karin Nielsdatter Debel (b.23/Jan/1801...d1864).
Parents are Peder Christensen Clausen (b.11/Apr/1756...d.12/May/1809) married Anna Marie Nielsdatter (b9/Dec/1753...d.1812)
My great-grandmother, Anna Clausen, was born in Blender, Hannover, to the
above couple in 1833. She had two brothers, Herman and Heinrich, both of
whom emigrated to the US and settled in Montana before Anna and her husband,
Christian Bohlman, emigrated with six of their children. I have lots of
information on Anna and Christian's descendants and know that Heinrich
married a woman named Johanne and emigrated to the US in 1879 with Rebeka
Bohlman, the oldest of Christian and Anna's children.
Intersted in the Claussen family roots and in their descendants If this
rings a bell with anyone, I'd enjoy hearing from you.
