John Class and wife Elizabeth gave a deed 25 Aug. 1866 to John Eckhart for part of land which was formerly owned and occupied by
Henry J. Brown -- this land is on Union Valley Road in Newfoundland
( West Milford Twp. , Passaic Co. NJ )about 1/2 mile north of the
intersection of Union Vally and Larue roads -- on left side of road
going north ----- I think that Elizabeth Class may have been a daughter of Henry J. Brown ???
I would like any information that proves a Class / Brown connection --
any information on brothers and sisters of Elizabeth Class ??
My g g grandmother - Mary ( Maria ) Brown widow of John Weaver , married Peter Post ( second marriage for both ) they lived and died
with in 1 / 2 mile of the above mentioned land .....I think that Mary
Brown Post was a daughter / or niece of Henry J. Brown ?
The first 40 plus years of my life was also spent with in 3 / 4 of a mile
of this land that John Class sold in 1866 ----
Regards and Happy New Year --- Leslie a g g grandson of Peter Post
