Was she from Nebraska?
If so, check the 1920 US Federal Census for Lancaster, Nebraska. Lincoln Ward 4 District 67.
It shows father Henry L, daugher June E (30) - Single, daughter Mary A. (22) - Married, son Lester W(28) and son-in-law Roy H. McKee(23).
In the earlier 1900 Census in Nemaha, Nebraska. Peru District 93 you get a better picture of the family with Louisa, daughters Maud E, June E, Amelia and Mary and son Lester W.
Lousia would appear to have been born in 1864 in Indiana and her parents were both from Germany.
Doesn't really help with figuring out her descendants though.
But we know she wasn't married at 30 and didn't have any children living with her at that time.
Still, either Roy or Mary McKee or their children might know something.
There's no SSDI record I can find so if you've seen a grave or something with that name it might not have legally been changed back after a marriage that occured after 1920.
Note, those Federal Census records both have her indexed as born in 1890 but the 1900 census actually has June 1889 on the form.
Oh, and she was working as a collector for Express Co in 1920.
I'll poke around a bit tomorrow but let me know if I'm on the right track and let me know any other information you might have like place of death or residences etc. and I'll see what I can find.

I am not sure who I came from. Since the 1890s census recorders have been destroyed, I can't find a trace beyong my greatgrandfather on my father's side. I am definitely interested in the DNA testing.
