No, they don't, sorry. My grandfather was Manuel Clary, my biological father's name is Joseph Earl Clary. I think that he was born around 1932 or 1933.

Do either of those names ring a bell?

I have some CLARY links and individuals that show up in Daviess county KY, one who is a William CLARY b. 1826. The links I have go back to a John CLARY b. 1785 in Ireland. These are relatives from my wife's side of the family most of whom are currently centered in the western KY area. Perhaps there are some matches or hole fillers here? There are to many to list in this forum, so anyone interested please contact me at my email address. rhaus(a)peoplepc.com

All I know is what is in the Missouri census, which shows his birthplace as Kentucky in 1812. Do you have a William that was born in 1812 in Kentucky?
I suspect that this William is the brother of Agrippa, Robert and Martha Clary, given that he is living next door to Agrippa's son William in Missouri.
Agrippa and Robert Clary were born in 1810, 1811 in Kentucky. I do not know which county - but am most anxious to find out!
Their sister Martha was born in 1802 in North Carolina.

Dear Siri:
I was so excited to read your post, I've been trying to get past the brick wall of this line for some time. Maybe your family bible has the clues I need. Mary Scheiddegger and William James Clary are my gr-gr-grandparents.
This is what I've been able to find.
William James Clary III parents were William Clary b. 26 July 1826 in Kentucky (date taken from his tombstone) and Francis Crabtree (daughter of Moses Crabtree and Hannah Bloomer. The Crabtree line has had a lot of research on it done and there is a book, though I can't remember the name right off-the Family History Library in Salt Lake has it. They were from Maryland)
My records indicate he was the son of John Clary and Elizabeth Dobbins, however, I'm not seeing any notes of how I got that information-I have lots of information on John, but don't know how I connected the two-I'll look into it and let you know.

I am descended from Richard Combs Clary and Carian Hablock Rector. Sarah Combs Nesbit was married to Daniel Clary for his second wife. According to the 1850 North Carolina Census for Alexander County Sarah was 88 years of age and was born in Maryland. She married Daniel Clary in 1786 in Rowan County, NC. Do have proof of her marriage to a Nesbit? I would like to know that she was a Combs before she married a Nesbit or what his first name was. She died in 1853 in Alexander County, NC.
