Hello fellow researchers!
Just to update you. (1) I have a new address: it is shown below.
(2) I am just recovering from a five vessel cardiac bypass and a heart
attack, so be patient with me in answering.
(3) - PLEASE NO GET WELL MESSAGES, etc. I appreciate everyone's concerns
and well wishes but don't want to overburden any of the lists or my e-mail
with these. Just keep me in your prayers and thoughts. Just think- Dave
Letterman had this surgery too.
Thanks.

Looking for info on James Cleary, born in Ireland in 1822. James married
Bridget O'Rourke (born 1823 in Ireland) and they emigrated to the US via
England in 1863. James & Bridget had a son, Edward J. Cleary, who was born
Dec. 30, 1856, possibly in England; married Mary Ann Sweeney in 1883; and
died Nov. 25, 1935, in Sharon, Mercer Cty., PA.
You can request a film version of this book from the Family History Library of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. You can go to http://www.familysearch.org, click on Browse Categories, click on Libraries. By clicking on the Family History Library Catalog, you can do a search on the surname Clary and find this and other documents available. By clicking on the Family History Centers link, you can find out the Family History Center that is near you from which you can order the film. I'm not sure, but I would assume that the price is the same at all the Family History Centers (which is $3.25). It can take about 4-6 weeks (sometimes shorter) for the film to come in. I have a copy of the film at the Family History Center at Harker's Island, NC. You can only view them at the Family History Centers. The book is no longer being published and all published copies have been distributed.

Subject: Clary Genealogy Book
I am seeking the where about of a rare Book.
Title: CLARY genealogy - Four Early American Lines and Related Families.
Authors: Ralph Shearer Rowland and Star Wilson Rowland
Families recorded: CLARY, HALY, PRICE, TUCK, DEVERON, ARMSTRONG, GREENE,
KUYKENDALL, WESTFALL and TURNER
The Authors privately published this spiral bound work (possibly in the
1960s) in a very limited number.
My objective is to locate a copy in either a library or privately owned at
which time I will offer to pay necessary charges to have a photocopy produced
for my family research. I realize it is highly unlikely anyone is willing to
sell his or her copy but if there were one available I would certainly be
interested in acquiring it. At this point I am interested in a complete copy
of the book.
Any lead on this matter will be greatly appreciated. Thank You...

Greetings All
I have joined this list today in the hopes of getting some
information.
I had a search done of the Boer War Muster Rolls for a family member and
this info was sent to me.
S. Clary, Wounded on the 10/03/00 whilist with the #1 Essex.
Would anyone have this person in their family? I am trying to put a
first name and any other info together on this person to try and
determine if he is my allusive Great Grandfather.
Thanks
Debbie
Greetings all
Would anyone be doing research on the variable spelling of Clary, in my
case Clarey?
My family of Clarey's are from the Rotherham England area.
Debbie
