Greetings All
Just wanted to know if it is alright to post to this list with a
different variation of the Clary name "Clarey". (Or is this list only
for the Clary variation)?
I am researching my Clarey family from Rotherham England, desperately
looking for a connection somewhere.
Thanks
Debbie

Hi cousins
I ordered the book through the Family History Center and copied the
appropriate sections. My local LDS FHC charges $3.50 for the microfilm.

Let me begin by thanking all of you Rooters who were so helpful. One
important thing I learned is there are a good number of us all looking for
information housed in that Book. So that we all can benefit from what I am
learning let me provide the following information.
There are several Libraries, which might have the Book, they are:
1. The library of North Carolina, in Raleigh
2. The Library of Virginia.
3. Historical Library in Madison, Wisconsin.
4. Guernsey County District Public Library (Cambridge, OH)
5. Brigham Young University library
According to some advice - Any public library should be able to get the Clary
Book for you via interlibrary loan. There will probably be a modest charge.
One Rooter paid five dollars and her local California library borrowed the
Book for her from the Brigham Young University library.
Per the recommendation of several of you I got the following information from:
1. Library of congress: (Detail description).

A couple of you noted you were looking for same family name KUYKENDALL. If
you wish I would be happy to forward the e-mail addresses of Sue and Beck to
each other so they can communicate directly. Please let me know.
Well that is all I have to report back. Again I want to thank everyone for
his or her advice and assistance and now it is off to the library. …Don
Hello, there! I know there is a copy of this book at the Guernsey County
District Public Library (Cambridge, OH). I'm sure they would copy anything
you request for a per page fee. Good luck.

Hi! I don't know if this is the book you're looking for. It's available at

I am seeking the where about of a rare Book.
Title: CLARY genealogy - Four Early American Lines and Related Families.
Authors: Ralph Shearer Rowland and Star Wilson Rowland
Families recorded: CLARY, HALY, PRICE, TUCK, DEVERON, ARMSTRONG, GREENE,
KUYKENDALL, WESTFALL and TURNER
The Authors privately published this spiral bound work (possibly in the
1960s) in a very limited number.
My objective is to locate a copy in either a library or privately owned at
which time I will offer to pay necessary charges to have a photocopy produced
for my family research. I realize it is highly unlikely anyone is willing to
sell his or her copy but if there were one available I would certainly be
interested in acquiring it. At this point I am interested in a complete copy
of the book.
Any lead on this matter will be greatly appreciated. Thank You...
