Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb
I may be behind the times, but I just recently discovered that the Maryland
Archives are online with the complete "Archives of Maryland" books and other
goodies for searching. I've spent so many days typing in ancestors' names
that I'm in danger of forgetting my own!

Hello All:
I have hardly queried the list, but I see a problem that needs
correction and would like to enlist the help of you all.
In my records I have the following:
William Hardin Clary
b 29 Oct 1874 at , Rockcreek, IL
d 15 Feb 1928 at Springfield, , IL
m 10 Dec 1900 to:
Savilla Hibbs
b
d
Now here is the problem -
In my data base the only date/place I can prove is their marriage.
Another relative (Scott Jage) has listed William Hardin Clary's wife's
name to be:
Sevilla Ann Stewart, daughter of C. T. and Mulda P. Tribbs (Tribbs. . .
could this really have been Hibbs?) Stewart.
Of course, this is the same person - I mean, what is the possibility of
having two women located in the same area, married to the same man with
both of them having the same first name Sevilla(with a minor spelling
variance), which is not a common Christian name.
Do any of you have any corroborative evidence that Sevilla Hibbs and
Sevilla Ann Stewart are one and the same? Please let me know.
Thank you,
Susan Vargas
Any information on the follwing CLARY, POWERS and PHELAN lines would be

Hello,
I'm seeking information on a Charles Michael Cleary, born in Ireland ca.
1920 and came to the US as a child with his parents (don't have their
names). He later married Ruth MINOR, from WI or IL. The parents of Charles
used the CLARY spelling. Ruth settled in Scottsdale, AZ and died last
October.
Thanks,
