> John M. Knox (Thomas Knox father) was born July 8th 1815 in Ross Co.
> Ohio between Lallasville & South Salem either in Buckskin or Concord
> Township - can't say for certain which but rather think Buckskin. Billy
> McConnell probably could tell - he lives at Lyndon or Greenfield.
> Priscilla C. Betts, his wife, was born June 12th 1825 in Ross County
> Ohio, Deerfield Township - 3 miles South of Clarksburg on land what later
> came in possession of Richard P. Brown heirs.
> John McConnell Knox and Priscilla Clarkson Betts were married October
> 20th 1846 at the residence of Thomas Betts (Sr. or Son?) one half mile
> south of Clarksburg, Ohio by Rev. Stephen O. Hand. I think Aunt Nancy
> Betts can tell probably.
> John M. Knox, M.D., died October 15th 1872 at Rensselaer, Indiana -
> buried there. Priscilla C. Knox died in Tacoma, Washington, March 31st
> 1889.

> 1. Who was Billy McConnell?
> 2. Need Thomas Betts Information and Betts Family information as it

> 3. Who was Aunt Nancy Betts?
> 4. Why was John M. Knox in Rensselaer? It appears he went there between
> June and July of 1870. One 1870 Census shows he was living with Priscilla
> and the family in Ohio in June. Another 1870 Census shows he was living

> He died there in 1872. Did Priscilla and he divorce?
> 5. Also, Does any have information regarding Leah Clarkson - married

Tawnia,
Yes, that is my family too. George was my mother's father. I would love to talk or email sometime so we may share information about them. I have a few hard-copy pictures as well from when the brothers were young. I can be reached at shortc54(a)hotmail.com.
Thank you!
Courtney
