An entry for William CLARKSON is on the will of Charles FLEMING BATES, attorney at law, of Richmond. He died 30 May 1808 with two wills. In the will of 2 Septmeber 1803, William CLARKSON of Goochland was a witness.
Hope this helps someone -- doesn't look like a member of my CLARKSON family starting with James b 1749 England, settled in Essex Co, was a weaver and married Mary ADAMS, 1777. They had five sons Peter Thomas or Thomas Peter b 1779; John Washington b 1782; Richard b 1788; Benjamin Franklin b 1791 and Joseph b 1794.

For someone who is related, I found the marriage record of a couple in
relationship to the Dawes petitions for the Choctaw and Chicasaw Nations.
He says he is applying to the Choctaw Nation by virtue of his marriage to
his wife. John M. Clarkson of Grant in Indian Territory, age 23 years and
Miss Arzona Oakes of Grant, in Indian Territory, age 16, wer emarried
according to law of October 21 1900.
This isn't my ancestor but I hope it can help someone.
