It seems unlikely that the first generation info is correct. my great-great-great-grandfather was Abraham Clarkson m. Matilda Tuttle and died in Troupsburg, Steuben, NY. They had two children I am aware of, but most likely others, born in the Steuben County area. They are: David Clarkson born 5 Apr 1843, and Roxanna Ann Clarkson (my great-great-grandmother) born 24 Apr 1858. While it is possible there is another Clarkson line in that area dating back into the 19th century, it seems unlikely.
