Subject: Re: [ENG-LAN-BOLTON] Harrison & Clarkson Bolton
Hi Valarie
Thanks for your look up Valarie - Now that really is very interesting.
When Sarah Harrison married Seth Clarkson at Bolton Parish Church they both
went to live in Wrightington as and my Gt Grandmother Elizabeth Clarkson
was
born there. I wonder if he originally came from there and married in the
Parish of his wife. ( I wonder what he was doing in the Bolton Area) !!!!
I will look into this now more deeply as there are not many 'Seth's' around
this area - Thanks ever so much for the trouble. Really appreciated.
Can I just point out at this stage that if it wasnt for Eng Lancs listing,
and the very helpful people listed on it, I would not have found half of the
info I have on my research, - A very big thanks to all.
Kind regards
Andrea

I don't know if this helps, but I do know of one tie in to VA and the Wilson family:
Richard P. had a son, Thomas George (22 Dec 1805 - 17 Aug 1879), who married a Sarah Wilson (1 Mar 1806 - 16 Jan 1893) from VA. They lived in Franklin Co., and had 4 children: Harrison, Emeline, Maria and Arthur F.
Sarah's parents were Benjamin Wilson and Phebe Fausset (a daughter of Robert Nathan Fausset).

Hello! I am looking for a female Clarkson born about 1810 in Virginia. She married in Franklin County Indiana in 1834 to a Wilson. The Clarkson family you are all discussing was in the area at the same time, however I have not been able to tie my EMILY CLARKSON to the family of Richard P. & Mary. If anyone has any information - please e-mail me direct
