Dear Ray
Thanks for your response.
I may have met your Grandfather. My Father had a cousin Ralph that spent a day or two with us on our farm in East Texas. I was just a kid and don't remember the exact date but it was about the time Castro took over the government in Cuba. Ralph had lost his wife and had taken a vaction to Cuba. He told us about his trip and the places he couldn't go because of the revolution.
My Father was Harry Walter Clarkson. He was born in North Vernon In January 1898. His Mother was Harriet or Hattie, daughter of Thomas and Charlotte (Lash) Clarkson. We do not know who his father was. Either he was an illigitimate child as Harriet was a Clarkson from birth or she married a Cousin. She died of tuberculosis sometime between 1905-1910.
If any of this sounds familiar or if you can add verse to the saga, please do so.
FYI I live in Marshall Texas, I have three sisters and a daughter.
Joseph Walter Clarkson

Hello Clarkson Cousins!
My grandfather was Ralph Clarkson of Rushville, Indiana.
He married Lillie Maye Gregston of Wolfe City, Texas.
My g-grandfather was Walter Enoch Clarkson of Lovette, Indiana. He married Rebecca Anne Vinson (aka "Vincent") of Grayford, Indiana.
My gg-grandfather was Enoch T. Clarkson of Jennings, Indiana. He married Luoisa G. Carson.
I would be interested in contacting any Clarksons related to any of these lines. I have the Clarkson Family Bible from Walter Enoch Clarkson and Rebecca Anne Vinson.
I also have Y-DNA37 results to share with my Clarkson relatives.
Sincerely,
Ray Clarkson
