Message Board Post:
I have a family headed by Samuel Clarkson. His daughter Jane was born in 1822 in PA. By the time Jane married in Rokeby Locks, Morgan Co., OH (at her father's house) around 1840, the majority of the family had moved to Ohio. My couriosity lies in two items . .Samuel's parentage and his wife's name.
We have a family story that Samuel's wife was an indian. We are trying to locate any family members that might be able to help us find out about her.
Thanks
