Joy,
Louisa was the daughter of James & Mary (nee Buckley) Killer. James was a well known builder/ joiner in Wiksworth. Other close relatives moved to Manchester where they had a confectionery business.
I can go back a number of generations on the Killer side. How much do you know about the Thornton side? I have often wondered if there was any connection with the Thornton Toffee people?
Look forward to hearing where your interests lie.
David

Your Lawson Clarkson of Jennings County was father of Bell E. Clarkson according to 1870 US Census. Census has Lawson Clarkson's wife's name as Louisa. Bell Clarkson and Jacob Weaver were married in October 1880. They had a daughter Pearl. My wife is related to Pearl through Jacob's first marriage to Hannie Scofield. Any information on Pearl Weaver would be appreciated.
