My James Denton married Sarah Clarkson in Lincoln Co KY on 21 Jan 1794.
The paper states "Sir, you are hereby permitted to grant marriage

1) Does anyone know any early Clackstone/Clarkson/Clarkston/Claxton
families in 1790 Lincoln Co that could be her father?? Funny that she
would give herself in marriage.
2) Does anyone have access to LIncoln Co deeds that could tell me when
James Denton first bought land there?
3) Folklore has it that James's parents John and Elizabeth Denton moved
to Harrodsburg in 1775 with Daniel BOONE. Any help on this would be appreciated.
4) James was in 1800 census in Garrard Co. Would appreciate a lookup so
that I could have the family's numbers. ie. how many females/males
5) James was in 1820 Gallatin Co pg 129 - Could someone look this up for
me and tell males/females ages??

I'm looking for information on my aunt, Araminta Clarkson, born April 7,
1897 near Lost Nation, Iowa in Clinton county and died in May of 1984 in
Clinton, Iowa, Clinton county. She married Ralph Benedict Watson July 7,
1920 in Maquoketa, Iowa, Jackson county. At the time of her death she
had a son and two daughters that survived her and four sisters. Her
parents were Fred and Henrietta Stutting Clarkson. If anyone could help
me with this, I would appreciate hearing from you. Thank you.
