My John William Clarke had no brother Maurice that I know of. My mother seems very certain of that. But his father was named John as well. I know he had brothers. How old would your John be. I do have birth dates for most of John williams siblings. What area is your family from?

I'm searching for a John William Clarke who had a Father John Clarke and mother Martha A Clarke, with brothers Maurice and James on the 1901 Census. I have been unable to trace John William and Maurice after the 1901 Census. Maurice was supposed to have died in the first world war. There is no trace of him after the 1901 census.
Is this part of your family tree do you think?

I'm looking for information regarding William W. Clark(e) born in 1811 in
Westfield, Hampden County, MA and his wife Frances Miller born about 1810
in the same area. In the Federal Census of 1840 and later the "e" was not
included at the end of his name, but later census his son Willis Wellington
had the "e" . The "e" has remained ever since.
William E. Clarke

I've "rescued" a group of 4 photographs all taken at studios in Boston,
Massachusetts. The first of the photographs is identified as Alice CLARKE
and was taken at the Partridge Studio in Boston, dated 1892. I would guess
that Alice was in her 20's or 30's at the time the photograph was taken.
The other three photographs are not identified, however, they are as
follows:
Unidentified female, taken at Partridge Studio in Boston, MA, 1890's, woman
in her teens
Unidentified female, taken at Partridge Studio in Boston, MA, 1890's or
1900's, woman in her teens
Unidentified female, taken at Gray Studio in Boston, MA, 1890's or 1900's,
girl about 10 years
Photographs recovered from the same source included ones belonging to the
BALES Family, though I'm not sure what the connection if any might be, the
handwritten notations on all appear to be made by the same hand. If you are
a member of this CLARKE Family, or you know someone who might be, please
contact me.
Thanks,
Shelley

Looking for any info for parents of Frederick Clarke 1914-1955 married to Ester(nee Waldron) lived mostly in Hulme but believed to have been born in Ancoats out of wedlock, but not to sure, his mother did live near Hulme/Old Trafford boundary as late as the early fifties, but I believe she did have children to, I believe, a man called Legg also living in Hulme at the time, he had children of his own, only one I can name is Charles. I know Frederick had sister called Mary who married a man called George Cross, who later went to live in Flixton/Urmston area, any help from this thread would be fully appreciated, Brian Clarke
