My gg-grandparents were William & Elizabeth {Payne} Clark. William first settled in what is St. Francisville on the Des Moines River. I know nothing about Elizabeth or the Paynes. William was born in Pennsylvania about 1801. My g-grandmother, Susan, was born in 1838 at the family farm in Athens, Clark Co., MO. I really need help with William and Elizabeth and their ancestors. Thank you, Nancy

I believe my grgrgrandparents to be Michael Clarke and Mary Clarke. My grf Michael b. 1884 to John and Rose McPhillips Clarke, Curkish, Bailieborough,Cavan. John was son of Michael and Mary Clarke/Clarke. If my info is correct my John would be brother to your Ellen. I do not have other info on Michael and Mary's family but would love it. These are my great-great grandparents. This was Mary Ellen's second marriage but we don't know if her maiden name was Clarke/Clark or if this was her first married name. They met and married in San Francisco,Ca.
Does anyone know anything about Mary Ellen's family. We've reached a brickwall.

Fred Adam Clarke is reported to have died in 1918. The World War I draft cards showed that he was still living in Douglas Co., KS.

Does anyone have the birth date of Weeden Clarke son of William Weeden Clarke b1793 and Elizabeth D Clarke b1798? Believe my ancestor is the same Weeden. The 1870 Census lists my ancestors birth year as 1825. Time frame fits perfectly, would appreciate confirmation. Thanks.

I am doing a project on the more obscure 'participates', such as Daniel Clarke, Edward Clarke, Elizabeth Clark, humphrey Clark, John Clark, Mary Clark, Nathaniel Clark Jr. & Urial Clark among others in the Salem Witch Trials. What I am interested in is family backgrounds, occupations, and theories @ why this particular person was involved.
Thanks

Just to tell researchers that there is a List for the Tewksbury State Hospital in MA.
My ancestor died there in 1905 and was buried in an almost, unmarked grave on the property.
John DEXTER's wife was Mrs. Mary Anna (CLARK) DEXTER. She was born in Westport, MA, and her father was James CLARK. John and "Molly" DEXTER lived most of their married life in Killingly, CT, where John was born (middle 1800's).
James CLARK is one of my major "brick walls." He was born probably between 1790 and 1800 - somewhere ! He showed up in Rhode Island around 1825.
