I have a document that my father has been carrying around for over 60 years that belongs to Bernard V Clarke. Dad was given the document in 1943 to give to Bernard next time he saw him. He never ran into him again.
It is a US Army Air Forces certificate that states :
This is to certify that Cpl. Bernard V. Clarke is a member of the Canton Veterans corps, where he has served his country faithfully, and well, at this far flung Pacific Outpost from December 2, 1942 to August 21, 1943.
(Signed by) Allan A Barrie Lt Col. AC commanding.
Certificate has a group picture on it.
I would love to deliver this to Bernard or a family member.
do you know anything about the Clarks that stayed in Conneticut. I have a
Henry Clark who was born in CT. around 1814. He married an Eliza/Denisa in
Alabama or Kentucky around 1842. Their first child was born in Kentucky, his name
was Jesse E. Clark. Thanks for any help.

Searching for any info on James Clarke, Born C1855 Donegal Ireland, Mother Bridget, born C1816 Donegal Ireland. They lived in and around Manchester from the 1860's.
Tammy,
Have you ever heard anything on your Josiah CLARK? I have an Isaiah
CLARK, born 1805-1806 in Maine. We think his father is Jephtha CLARK
born 1770-1775. I have no other details about Jephtha except that he
moved to Washington Co., Ohio between 1810 and 1820.
