I have found a bit on my sweetie's ancestor, Iretta Margaret CLARK, so I thought I'd put the query out again, and see if the extra info can help anyone to identify her line.
Census for 1900 Farber village, Cuivre Twp, Audrain co, Missouri shows these two families, not together:
James CLARK 44 IL IL IL
Susie C CLARK 16 MO IL MO
Ireteta M CLARK 12 MO IL MO
Edmund BAILEY Sept 1875 England England Ireland
Alva BAILEY Jul 1880 MO ?? ?? [Iretta's sister Alvah CLARK]
Census for 1920 Buffalo, Louisiana, Pike co, Missouri shows two families next-door to each other:
Carroll BECK Head 34 IA IA IA Employee, Brush [?] for Government
Iretta BECK Wife 31 MO OH IN [Iretta Margaret CLARK]
Ethel BECK Dau 11 MO IA MO
Clara BECK Dau 7 MO IA MO
Elaine BECK Dau 1 MO IA MO [this is Eileen, not Elaine]
Malcom TALBERT Head 39 IL VA NY Laborer at Saw Mill
Sarah TALBERT Wife 41 MO OH IN [Iretta's sister Sarah CLARK]
Fred TALBERT Son 16 IL IL IL Laborer at Saw Mill
Earnest TALBERT Son 13 IL IL IL Laborer at Saw Mill
Victor A PAGE Step Son 22 MO MO MO Wood Chopper, Timber
Looks like Victor is a son of Sarah CLARK by a 1st marriage by ______ PAGE? Also looks like Fred and Earnest are not Sarah's sons, so 2nd marriage for both parents?
I have not been able to find Iretta's brother David CLARK, nor her sister Beulah CLARK, and she may have had other siblings.
Anyone related to these CLARKs, or can anyone point me in the direction of a clue? <g>
Thanks for any assistance!
Alie Jo

Greetings from Amsterdam, Clark(e) listers. I have a plague/blessing of
Clark(e)s in my family tree! Can anyone help with any of these?
1 - Keziah Emily CLARKE, b 1852 in Norwich, Norfolk, UK. She married Henry
RAMSBOTTOM in Norwich sometime around 1872. I'm currently waiting for her
birth certificate.
2 - Martha CLARKE, b 22 Jun 1806 in Cawston, Norfolk, UK. I know her father
was Thomas and mother, Mary. Martha married Edward EASTON in Cawston in
1827.
3 - my maternal grandmother was Yensie Mabel CLARK.
Her father was Edgar Clark, born in 1875 in West Norwood, Surrey.
His father was Henry Clark, born in 1841 in Wordwell, Suffolk
His parents were Henry and Rebecca Clarke, but I have nothing else on
them.
Can anyone shed any light on any of these for me? Many thanks
Regards
Paul Howes
I been reading all the email about William Clark,i also have a William Alva
Clark born around 1850 IN SANDUSKY OHIO,HE MARRY DELEANA ANETTE WHITNEY IN
1879 in Michigan.
What I need is prove of his parents,I think i found his death in 1905 in
Michigan listed his parents as Oresmus clark and lucyann Nicholas,
any of this sound familiar to any one. june
Michael,
I have been tracking two major branches of old North Carolina Clark
families: The patriarch of the first is Samuel Clark who died in Randolph
County NC in 1783; the patriarch of the 2nd is William Clark b. ca. 1700 d.
1779-1782 Orange County NC. William had a son James b. ca. 1725 d.
1795-1796 Orange County NC. James had a daughter Sarah Clark who married
Thomas Clark b. ca. 1743 York Co PA to the Samuel Clark who died in Randolph
Co NC. Thomas and Sarah's relationship as husband and wife is documented by
a Bedford County Tennessee deed. Rumor has it that Thomas and Sarah were
cousins. Also connected with both families is Baptist Clark. (If you have
a Baptist Clark in your line, you are connected to both of these families,
but the caveat is that we do not know for certain the nature of Baptist
Clark's relationship with either line.) These lines have been tracked into
TN, AR, KY, IN and parts west. My specific interest is a branch of the
Orange County Clarks who migrated to Kentucky.
My husband is also participating in the Clark DNA Project. To date, there
have been no matches.

Ruth,
I have been somewhat following your discussion regarding William, but when
you mentioned his wife's name was Catherine, that definitely caught my
attention. I think I have missed some details about where in Kentucky
William lived and when. If I remember correctly, you said something about
him being a minister, and I know there was a William Clark who pastored a
church in Russell County fairly early. It had crossed my mind to wonder if
that William Clark was connected with the Clarks of Madison County. If your
William lived in Madison County and you have proof that his wife's name was
Catherine, I know who she was. Please contact me.

Hello Hez again. Since your name is Clark, I guess that was a dumb question
I just asked. What I really need to know is the maiden name of William's
wife, Catharine.

Hello, Fay. I made a mistake when I said that William, son of Robert and Susannah Clark was a minister. It was the second Wm., son of William Sr. who was a minister. He and his wife and family did live in several counties. The first William, who I am researching is very difficult to locate. I am hoping that I will receive more info tonight or tomorrow to help me with that. If I do, I will put it on this board. I am still hoping that I will find out who this Catharine is.
Thanks for writing

This is to Nancy Garrelts. Hope you find it.
Could you let me know to where Stanley Clark contributed his info on William Clark and if there is any more available.
Or could you send his E-mail address to me? I would really like to get in touch with him. Thank you.

Hello the list,
All my life I have been told about Clark ancestors who emigrated from Yorkshire to Canada. I can remember during the war I used to receive packages of comic books from them - obviously I was very popular as such items were not available at this time in UK.
Another story was that the family was connected with the Wrigly Gum company. I was under the inpression that this was a US company and didn't connect the two stories. Last night I was watching a TV program that showed the Wrigly building in Toronto. Could the two stories me connected?
If anyone has any information I would be delighted to receive an email
God bless
John

I wish to thank Nancy for the info on William Clark. Some of it doesn't match what I already had, though. For instance, my Wm. was a minister and lived all his life in Kentucky, in several different counties. Of course we don't know positively about that. So I would like to hear from Stanley Clark if you're on this site sometime, Stan.
Thank you.

Hello, Tas.
No, I'm not in the US. I'm in Canada, but all my ancestors including my parents were born in the US. Well, as far back as Michael Clark. I have 3 William Clarks in my line.
Ruth
Hi, Nancy Garrelts. Thank you so much for the William Clark & Family info. I had no idea that he did all those things and made a very good life for his wife, Catherine and family. We have always thought that his wife was Elizabeth Allen, but others didn't agree.
The only info missing now is Catherine's maiden name. If anyone knows, could you pass it on to me? Thank You.

Hello Fellow CLARKE Listers!
I am looking for information on a Arminta or Minta
CLARK(e) from Vermont. I estimate she was born about
1784 but I could be off by 5 years or more either way.
She may have had a sister named Hannah and a brother
Seth who married Edna LOVE in Hardwick, Massachusetts
in 1780.
HELP!
Any information is appreciated.
Thanks soooooooo much in advance,
Carl
