In 1994, we published a Thomas Barnes book which consisted of 1766

For the past few years we've had requests for our 1994 book which we had to

we've published a more extensive book. We've increased the number of

Another update: Charles's wife may be Hannah. They had a son named Arthur H. Clarke who lived at 4E. 22nd Street, Wilmington, DE in 1937, and a daughter Bessie(Clarke) Cook who lived on Main Street, Yardley, PA in 1937. There is also an Edward S. Clarke who may be Arthur's son.
I would love to find anyone who recognizes these people. Thank you!
Thanks Fred, I just bought "Survey of the Scovils" and download the same from internet.
It is the history of the Scoville family by Homer Wothington Brainard. A Survey of the Scovils or Scovills in England and America; Seven Hundred Years of History and Genealogy.
Earliest being Ralph de Scoville from Normandy. This book goes from 1194 to 1914. Smith's generation is the last of the generations in the book far as I have seen, and his children, mine being Francis William. His daughter Sarah Adeline is my great grandmother. Not overly proud of Addy. She married Benjamin Duncan Cross and had 2 boys and two girls, my grandmother, Mabel. When Mabel was about 2 1/2 and my Uncle Dick was 3 months, she took off with the hired man, leaving the 4 and 3 step-sons. She and Rutledge had 3 sons,
Ben divorced her about the time these boys were born. She remarried? 4 more times.
This was a well guarded secret all my life, until I started digging, it was a subject not asked about if you knew what was good for you.
I do have the genealogy from Smith down to the present, at least my line and most of the other families.
The Clark name also interests me as my great grandfather on my Mom's side was Clark. Scovilles were my Dad's ancestors.

I am trying to find the parents/siblings
of Cephas Clark who resided in Wayne

may have been: Jefferson, Orson,

I am looking for a connection between

I have been watching your posts with interest....do you have anything on a
Mary Barnes b. 1620 Essex who married John Andrews b. 1620 who died in
Farmington Ct. They had a son Daniel Andrews or Andrus. My Andrus line
connects in Southington Ct. with Enos Clark b. 1711 Southington who married
Eunice Luddington.
Does that fit anywhere with your lines. I have found quite a bit about
Thomas Barnes but not the connection with Mary Barnes and John Andrews.
Thank you for all your help.

I don't think so the dates don't really work. Your Moses Clark died in
1784. Since the revolution took place in 1776 and my Moses died at age
105 (that is the one solid fact I have on him) I don't see how they can
be the same man. On the other hand it is the right location since my many
of my Clarks appear to have resided in the Ct. and R I area. Thank you
for trying.
