Hi Joseph A Arlt,
I am on the Clark mailing list and have noticed you have alot of information
on Clarks. Wondering if you had ever crossed the path of my ancestors ? I
have copy of 1860 Census of Washington Co., Pa. that list Lyman Clark , 46,
born Boston, Ma. His wife Catherine , 39, born Canada. They had 6 sons.
Augustus 19, John 16, Lyman 11, Robert 7, George 4, and Benjamin 6 months.
Robert is my G Grandfather. I have a census Marshall Co.,WV 1900 that
Robert lists his father as being born New York and his mother, Catherine,
born in Wales. Now which census should I believe as to where they were
born ?
Robert, my G Grandfather, was a coalminer. Two of the brothers owned a
Barbershop but can't locate them either. I have no idea what happened to
the other boys ?
Keep up the Good Work!!!
Thanks,
Jo Clark

My father's name was John Miles Sheridan Clark, born September 26,
1915, married Ruth Virginia Moore on November 20, 1937. He lived in
Hutchinson, Kansas and is buried there.
My problem is lack of family history from this point on back. My
Grandfather was John Oscar Clark, born April 11, 1866, married to Rosa
Pearce (or Pierce). He died in 1949 and is buried in Hutchinson, KS.
In his possessions we found a piece of paper with these names all grouped
together with birth dates, and no other information. This is where we hope
someone out there can help.
The first two names we guess are parents of John Oscar Clark:
William H. Clark April 3, 1839
Martha E. Clark September 3, 1841
And we assume these are the children of William and Martha Clark:
Albert A. Clark January 6, 1862
John O. Clark April 11, 1866
Mary E. Clark September 30, 1867
Harvey T. (?) Clark April 6, 1869
Charles M. Clark May 23, 1871
Rosa A. Clark June 20, 1893
Anna L. Clark June 20, 1893 Twins
Edward E. Clark July 2, 1878
Jessie C. Clark July 9, 1899
Gina Gertrude Clark April 11, 1880
Does anyone have any information on this family?
Ginny Denney
Hi....
Sorry, but I lost the thread of the line. Can you refresh my memory with
one of my reference numbers or quote my originaal message to you?
Or better yet, can you give me the data on the line of Joseph & spouse &
kids with all the dates and I'll check my data base for them.
With over 18,000 Clarks and lots of Joseph's it's hard for me to find
people without a birth date and place...

What was the date of their marriage, and the locatiion??
Robert CLARK DOWLER is the son of Samuel S. DOWLER, b. 1848, in Centerville, Pa. and Sara Jane 'Jennie' CLARK, b. 1846, Centerville.

These are many requests, and we will appreciate any info which anyone can provide!!
If any knowledgable genealogy students who are following these names could help us, it would surely be much appreciated, no matter how little the information may be!!
Thank you , each one, in advance!!
