Hi rooters.
Hoping someone on this web site can help in obtaining
background details on John Henry Clark.
Seeking any information on John Henry Clark who died in
Montreal in the year 1834, possibly September 27'th., and
likely buried from an Anglican Church. J.H. was the son of
John Clark, 1778- 1838, a merchant and banker of Halifax,
Nova Scotia and Eliza Frances (Koch) Clark, 1783-1859. Young
John Henry could have been sent to Montreal as an agent for
his father and likely attached to the mercantile, insurance
or banking industries.
I would like to obtain any information as to his employment,
marital status and death particulars. No doubt there were
Halifax / Montreal family connections to lure John Henry
to Quebec.
Thanking one and all for any conciderations, kindest regards,
John David.
Hello Kathleen, What do you have on this Joseph Clarke? I am interested
in finding information on a Joseph Clark who came to Alaska and worked on
quick silver ship's and died on one that sank on sway to Seattle, he
was here and married in 1880 so would have been born at least by 1860.
Anyone have anything on that??
Appreciate it.

Guys, what would we do without Joe? I think we should declare him a
Clark(e) Clan national treasure! He even cites sources!!

Hi... I have:
Name Edward CLARK, #1134
Sex: M
Born 25 Jan (N)1736 Probably MA
who could be a possibility if your 1734 date is an estimated birth date.
------------------------
Is there a typo error in the marr. date "Sept. 30, 1762" and the birth of
their son Nathaniel Clark, b. 1750.... That would put the age of the
mother as 11 and the father as 16.
I may have some of the kids of Edward and also Nathaniel in my 13,900
Clark name data base and we may be able to find a connection that way.
Can you give me vital dates & spouses names & vitals of the kids of
Edward and also Nathaniel? (a descendant report in an email message would
be ideal if possible). I'll search thru my data base and see if we have
a match. Even if we don't, I'll enter the data with your email address
and maybe we'll have a match in the future and I can put you in touch
with that person...
Thanks

I have run into a brick wall with Ens. Edward Clark, b. 1734. He married
Anna Jenison, b. 1739. They married Sept. 30, 1762. We have his descendants,
but would love to know siblings, parents and ancestors. Anna Jenison's
family was from Massachusetts, and seems to be well documented.
My husband descends from their son Nathaniel Clark, b. 1750, Holden,
Worcester Co., MA, then:
Freeman Clark, b. 1794, Petersham, Worcester Co., MA
David S. Clark, b. 1819, Chardon, Geauga Co., OH
James King Clark, b. 1848, Scott, Columbia Co., WI
Willard Leslie Clark, b. 1873, WI
Jennie Mae Clark, b. 1896, White Pigeon, MI (My husband's grandmother)
Any help will be greatly appreciated!
