Still hunting for any information on Catherine Ann CLARK b. 1826 d. 15 Apr
1904.
On 01 Mar 1845 she married Henry Franklin CADY b. 1818 d. 1905. Henry's
family was from Stafford, CT.
Catherine's death certificate states she was born in CT - it may have been
Stafford. The death certificate also states that her father was an Alpheus
or Alfosus Clark. She lived her adult life in Lockport, Niagara County, NY
where her husband was an employee of the U.S. Post Office.
They had at least one child - Catherine Antoninette CADY who married
Francis Phelps WEAVER.
Any leads appreciated! Thanks. Bob.

Here are two Horace Clarks that may be the same person. Both lines are well
documented but my line ends with sparse info on my gg grandfather Horace
Clark who married Caroline Fuller. They are in The William Ward Genealogy by
Martyn, 1925 and the 1850 Collins, Erie, NY census but I can't find them
before or after.
The Horace Clark that married Lucy Snow spent many years in Battle Creek,
Calhoun, MI. Does anyone know of his life before 1856? I would really like
to either prove or disprove this possible link.
Here is a short excerpt from my web site where I have represented both
Horace Clarks as brothers.
1. Arunah Clark born 1793, (son of Paul Clark and Elizabeth Wright) married
3 Jun 1817, Betsy Robinson, born 1796, died 1823. Arunah died 1875.
Children:
2. i Horace Clark born 14 Feb 1818.
3. ii Horace Clark born ABT 1818.
Second Generation
2. Horace Clark (1.Arunah1) born 14 Feb 1818, . Royalton Twsp., Windor, VT,
married OCT 1856, in MI, Lucy Marion Snow, born 24 Jul 1838, Rochester,
Plymouth, MA, (daughter of Henry Snow and Polly Mansfield) died NOV 1898,
buried: 9 Nov 1898, Oak Hill Cem., Battle Creek, Calhoun, MI. Horace died 8
Mar 1900, buried: 11 Mar 1900, Oak Hill Cem., Battle Creek, Calhoun, MI.
Sources given for this Horace are similar for the other family members. All
info on this Horace Clark came from Don Fuller on Chicago IL, who has his
data well documented with many sources. Don Fuller is descended from Henry
Arunah Clark. .
Children:
i Ida F. Clark.
ii Henry Arunah Clark born 17 Sep 1864, Battle Creek, Calhoun, MI,
married 29 Nov 1899, in Battle Creek, Calhoun, MI, Agnes M. Green. Henry
died 10 Jul 1919, Battle Creek, Calhoun, MI, buried: 13 Jul 1919, Oak Hill
Cem., Battle Creek, Calhoun, MI.
3. Horace Clark (1.Arunah1) born ABT 1818, NY, married Caroline D. Fuller,
born ABT 1824, VT. Is this Horace the same person as his brother shown
here? And the son of the parents shown? I really have no idea but it is too
good a match to let go. I hope to prove this one way or the other. The
information on the other line was given by Don Fuller. (Robert Clark Kline
Nov 1997.).
Children:
i Sarah E. Fuller born ABT 1837, NY. She was inhabiting the
household of Horace Clark at census time. Probably a relative of Caroline E.
Fuller since their ages vary by thirteen years.
ii George E. Clark born ABT 1843, NY.
iii Rhoda M. Clark born ABT 1848, NY.
iv John Enious Clark born 6 Apr 1850, Collins, Erie, NY, USA,
occupation Farmer, married 18 Apr 1876, in Lake Geneva, Walworth, WI, Carrie
Janette Ward, born 13 Sep 1855, Lake Geneva, Walworth, WI, (daughter of
Jonathan Ward and Electa King) ref: WW 5459, died 31 Jul 1905, Chokio,
Stevens, MN. John died Aug 1926, Chokio, Stevens, Minnesota, USA. v
Flora Clark born AFTER 1850. In 1926, she resided in Portland, OR, as Mrs.
Flora Stewart according to her brother John's obituary.
vi Albert Clark born AFTER 1850. In 1926, He was residing in Erie,
PA, according to his brother John's obituary.

Looking for anyone that might have information on the following:
Joseph CLARK born in Pennsylvania and married in Hamilton Co., OH where he
went with his father in boyhood. Elizabeth Askren CLARK, his second wife, was
born in PA the daughter of Thomas and Helena Mundell ASKREN. Joseph moved to
Marion Co, IN after the birth of two children to his second wife (1st child
Nance born 9 Sep 1824; 2nd child Sarah born 12 Apr 1827). This removal was in
1827 and they came in a wagon and settled five miles east of Indianapolis
where Mr. Clark entered 160 acres of land. They lived in a log cabin which
was built by his brother Caleb.. This land is now the Great Naval Ordnance on
21st and Arlington. Mr. Clark was a soldier in the War of 1812. His land
joined Thomas Askren, Jr's on the west.
Joseph CLARK's daughter was Ann (b. 18 Mar 1840 near Irvington, IN) and she
married Valentine APPLE in Warren Township, Marion Co, IN 22 Aug 1867.
(working on SHEARER, APPLE, KUHN lines also)
Thanks

??????are the people listed with Abijah & ANNE CLARK grandchildren, if so
who are the parents?
To Carol White and all,
I have a Luther Duane Clark 1840-1924, died/buried in Schenevus, Otsego
County, New York. I am descendant of his father Alvin Clark. If this
looks like you Luther Clark, I'd be happy to share information.
I have been seeking info on the parents of Alvin Clark . Here is what I
have. Can anyone add to this info.
Alvin Clark (1803-1892) m. Esther Coon (1807-1868)parents unknown.
The were married in 1827 and had Caroline (my ggg), Charles, and the children
listed below in the 1860 census.
A large family Bible, in possession of my mother contains exact birth dates,
some death dates on these parents and the children. The Bible, dated 1828,
contains a note of Amelia Coon, b. 23 Apr 1801 and of Jonathon Osborn, son of
Leonard Osborn, born in October ...
On the loose sheet, Family Record, is Millie Coon, B. 21 Apr 1809.
1860 Census, Otsego Co, Plainfield, Unadilla Forks.
862-841 Alvin Clark, 56, m, farmer, 1500 in real estate, 500 in personal
estate, born Mass
Esther 52, f, born NY
Henry 25, m, farmer, born NY
Sarah 22, f, domestic, born NY
Duane 20, m, farmer,
Mettie 16, f, domestic, attended school

Amelia Coon 50, f, domestic, born NY
1872 - Gazetteer and Business directory of Otsego Co., Plainfield, lists Alvin
Clark as an "agent for agricultural implements, dairyman, 5 cows, farmer 50."
It gives his post office address as Leonardsville, Madison Co.
1872 - History of Madison Co. by Mrs. L.M.Hammond, page 190 says, "There
[Leonardsville] was a tavern, built by Leonard, which passed through various
hands, -occupied in turn by Dennison Brown, Isaac Brown, Alvin Clark, Isaac
Miner and several others. It was repaired about 1868, and was afterwards
burned; the site is not now (1870) occupied."
