Can anyone direct me to proof that John CLARK (b. 1761 Culpepper Co., VA d
1806 Fayette, KY) married Ann BARKLEY (b 1765 MD) about 1781?
Can anyone tell me where-- city or county-- in MD Ann was born?
Can anyone tell me who John CLARK's mother was?
Joe Arlt (THANKS, Joe!) has helped me with info on this line, but I now need
proof!
Thanks in advance,

Hi All. I need some help with my Clark line. J. Alstine Clark married
Abigail Shepherd 22 Jan 1832 So Charleston, Clark, Ohio. He died before 1850.
They had Nancy Ann, Mary S., Hannah, David S., Theodore F., and Jackson
Flemming (my ancestor). I believe that his father's name was Robert Clark.
Wife was Catherine? Looking for a Robert Clark that would fit into this
family or if anyone has other information I would love to hear it. Thanks,

I'm looking for information on Leone Combs b. ca.1900. An ancestor of hers
was a member of
the DAR, and when I looked up the number I got the following information:
Daughters of the American Revolution Lineage Books (133 Vols.)
The National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution Volume 98
Mrs. Mary Lynn Talmadge Clark.
DAR ID Number: 97454
Born in Forsyth, Ga.
Wife of Horace Clark.
Descendant of Lieut. John Fryer, as follows:
1. Thomas R. Talmadge (b. 1858) m. 1881 Carrie Roberts (b. 1864).
2. T. R. Talmadge (1833-61) m. 1851 Amanda P. Goodwyne (b. 1837).
3. Coleman Goodwyne (1805-62) m. 1832 Caroline Fryer (1815-66).
4. Zachariah Louis Fryer (1785-1861) m. 1814 Sarah Matthews (1795-1850).
See No. 97020.
I think that Mary Lynn Talmadge Clark was Leone's mother (Mary would have
been born ca.1882)
If this matches with anything you have please let me know, I'd greatly
appreciate it.

I have just started researching my husbands family and feel as if is a
JONES.
Any way, the first name I will throw out is
Joseph Embry Clarke
D.o B.---Oct.27,1901
Hardeman County, Tenn.
also lived in Bolivar, Tenn
Lived and died
in New Albany, Miss.
Known to every one as Little Joe
wife was Mary Ann ???
This is the first name I will put on as I found a newspaper clipping
giving this imfo and the family doesn't seem to know alot. I do know he
had a brother , James Wesley Clark
It seems that Uncle Joe had an e at the end of his name and his brother
didn't. Don't know when it disappeared
I will have to dig at my husbands brain for more.
If Uncle Joe is part of your family, please let me know.
