Looking for Clark Family of CT., John Clark, b. abt. 1675, New Haven, m.
Abigail Ambrose. Daughter Eunice, b. Abt. 1700, m. Edward Jackson.
Thanks. Sue
Because you have James's date of death I suggest that you order a copy of
his Will, that could be very helpful. Also his a copy of his death
registration may be vey helpful.
Jonathon Clark's birth should be on the I.G.I., and you should have a go at
ordering a copy of his birth cert. and death cert. or registration whatever
you call it in the U.S., they could be a great help.
Suggestion- It may help if you apply to the local archives in the state that
they married for a copy of Cornelius and Nancy's marriage registration. That
may give you their places of birth even and you could go from there. The
church that they were married in also.

I am looking for information on James Clarke who is buried in St. Pauls
cemetery in Augusta Georgia in 1797. His brother John is buried in
Summerville cemetery in Augusta. They were Ulster Scots and Presbyterians
according to a book on the Summerville Cemetery compiled by the Augusta
Genealogical Society.
They may be the ancestors of my James N. B. Clarke who lived in Pensacola
Florida until his death in 1883. His tombstone says he was born in Augusta.

I know it isn't much to go on, but it's all I have at this point. I
am seeking descendants of the marriage of:
CLARKE, Cornelius-1258
Spouse/Mate Nancy HAVINS-1005
Marriage 17 Dec 1821 in Greenup Co., Kentucky
Any informationon if and when Cornelius and Nancy had children would
be helpful. There is a possibility that Nancy's surname may have
been spelled HAVENs at one time.
Thanks for your assistance

Am researching ancestors of my great-great-grandfather, Thomas Benjamin
Clarke b. 1844 in Va., probably in the eastern half of the state. He was
married 3 times and produced 20 children according to some family sources.
His first wife was Isabella Craddock and one of their daughters, Emma Jane
Clarke Kidd, was my great-grandmother. Thomas had two brothers, John and
George.
The only other information I have is that his father and grandfather
probably came from England.
Has anyone else come across this line?

My apologies to list members for not specifying the area of my research, I
am new to mailing lists. My areas of research are in the County of
Lincolnshire, England, and I am doing my research from New Zealand as I
have already mentioned. My two teenage daughters are sixth generation Clarke
decendents here in N.Z.. Hope I'll be able to help other list members at
some stage or other.
Cheers Karen.

Hi I'm a new list member and hoping that joining this list proves fruitful,
or that I may be able to help others in their Clarke research. I'm doing my
search from New Zealand so any connection with other searchers helps.
Is anyone researching Clarke in or near Lusby 19th century? Or Clarke in or
near Sth Kelsey also 19th century? The names I am researching for both
those areas are James Clarke, wife Mary (nee Sutton) and son Richard Clarke.
Marriage of parents at Lusby 13.7.1819. Bap. of Richard 13.2.1820,also at
Lusby. Richard then marries Charlotte Todds daughter of George and
Elizabeth Todds at Sth Kelsey 7.6.1858 both set of parents also live at Sth
Kelsey at that time.
I'm waiting for James's and Mary's marriage reg. from Lincoln. Archives and
Richard's Baptism reg. from the Reverend at Spilsby where the Lusby Baptisms
are held. I don't know if these copies of documents will give me any more
names?
Here's hoping?
Karen.
Not sure where he came from, but am descended from his son Lewis Clark and
his son Alexander Clark m. Emma Frances Moring in SC. Anything helpful.
