Looking for addt'l information on Tharina Clark Atwell. Appears that her mother was Catherine and that she married Daniel Atwell and was stepmother to his children. I don't think Daniel and Tharina had any children of their own. Tharina was born in NY abt 1841. She mentions my gg grandmother, Ardella Rockefeller Van Dyck and Della's nieces and nephews in her obituary, so I am assuming that Tharina was the sister of my ggg grandmother Esther Clark Rockefeller. Tharina and Catherine lived in Schenectady, NY.

Hello ... I was doing a record search at the library for someone and made copies of a few other obituaries on the same page. One was for a LaMOINE R. CLARK (1893 - 1945) and I thought someone here might be interested.
I've attached it as a JPG file. It is from the Oregon Statesman, May 29, 1945, page 5
If anyone needs a higher resolution image, feel free to contact me.

I just discovered this site a few days ago and find we are distant cousins! My 2nd great grandmother was Hattie's older sister Dora. Dora married Charles T. Isaacs on 9-14-1882 at her family home in Coshocton. The couple immediately settled in Jackson Co. Kansas (near Holton) where Chas was from. Chas served as Jackson Co. sheriff 1910-1914 and then they moved to Pt.Pleasant, ultimately residing in nearby Hoyt, KS.
I believe Hattie (and possibly another younger sister?) ultimately moved out to Kansas also?
My father spoke fondly of his great aunt Hattie! His childhood memories of Dora & Hattie are of very jolly women who were life long best friends.
I welcome the opportunity for us to share further!

Hello,
I was asked to try researching a friends line.
I'm trying to locate descendants of William H. Clark b. abt Dec 1875 per 1900 census in Canada to Wiliam Clark & Rose(Rosie) Vigue born England & Canada respectively. William H.Clark married Elfie Hatch 13 May 1899 in Littleton, Grafton Co, New Hampshire. Wm died after 1949. Elfie died 22 Oct 1925 in Littleton, New Hampshire.
An 1893 NH death for a sister to Wm. Clark says Annie Clark was born estimated 1880-somewhere in New Zealand.
Would love to be in contact with anyone searching this line.
I have searched the LDS Pilot Search New Hampshire records & gleaned pieces on the family.
Thank you!

After spending 10 years looking for Jim Clark, I have come across information that indicates that his given name may be John Andrew Clark b. Percy Illinois d. 1888 in Dallas TX. Maybe the other states aren't listed because the members from that state
are less than a cut-off point like 10 or 20. I'm from the state of WA.

I am looking for the name of CSA Col Meriwether Lewis Clark's son who attended West Point at the start of the Civil War.
Col Clark was the son of William Clark of the Lewis and Clark Expedition out of Pittsburgh. I have a records that Meriwether Lewis Clark, born Jan 10 1809, was the eldest son of US Senator William Clark. He graduated for West Point in 1830 a year after General Robert E Lee.
I would also like to find the name of CSA Col Meriwether Lewis Clark's wife. It seems that Col Clark was General Robert E lee's aid in Richmond towards the end of the Civil War.
