Just going over some emails I saved to reply to later...
Your Benjamin Clark/Clarke is around the same vintage as my Capt. Nathaniel
Clark. Not sure exactly where in CT he was born but his daughter Sarah was
born around 1769. She married Timothy Mather of Lyme, CT and before too
long, they moved to NY. There are several Nathaniel Clarks but I can't nail
down a birth date, death date nor who he married. I remember seeing the
name Thankful on various sites. I think I read recently that Clark is the
29th most popular surname which sure doesn't help.

I know about part of that story from your brother Wendell, my father. He said that was in '57 but wasn't sure, do you know for certain what year it was? It would make it easier to find out more about our family on that side I know that he said rode to Detroit on a train to bring the body back to Clarksville for burial.

Thank you so much for these. I had no idea I was related to Dawsons. Historically, I haven't been very close to this branch of the family because I grew up in a different state. So I don't know very much about them.
However, I am interested in any info you may have about my Grandma Mooney or my Great-Grandma Goldie(who I was fortunate enough to meet once) and Great-Grandpa Pearl. I enjoy learning about my ancestors.

I would also like to say I am so sorry, she was a very sweet and wonderful person. My mother always had the nicest things to say about her. I only wish our families could have been closer. She is now home and is waiting for us someday. I have some pictures of her 80th birthday too. Happy Hunting
