Hello, my name is Pam Sikes. Helen Clark Sikes' youngest daughter. I have been online researching geneology when I ran into your posting in 2000 regarding Atlas Clark. I don't know if you are still online, but I thought it is worth a try.

John Clark used the middle initial of "J" as his father also was John Clark and his father used the middle initial of "E" so that they could differentiate. John J. Clark married a second time after Jane Moore died to Ida Flick.
John & Jane had 3 children: Harry Moore Clark, Francis Sanderson Clark and Pearl Clark. Harry and Francis married sisters, Carolyn & Edythe McLean.

Any information from anyone related to the people below would be very welcome!
Thomas Clark (b.abt 1800 Berwick, Northumberland) married Ann Ray (b.abt 1806 Berwick). He was a house painter. They had children:
James (b.abt 1826, Berwick, Northumberland, England)
Elenor (b.abt 1833, Middlesex England)
Thomas (b.abt 1839, Middlesex, England)
Charles "Chas" (b.abt 1841, St George, Middlesex, England)
William (b.8 July 1843, St George, Middlesex, England)
Thomas George (b.abt 1853, Westminster, Middlesex, England)
My line descends from William. He was a house painter, coffee house keeper and baker. He had businesses on Bute Street, Kensington where they lived. He married twice, first wife died and I know nothing about her/the marriage. Second wife was Caroline Amelia Bailey (b.1808, St Giles, Wimborne, Dorset, Hampshire). They moved to Alderholt, Dorset late 1900's with daughter Alice. Alice later moved back to Kensington to help her brother at his dining rooms. They had children:
William Bailey (b.10 March 1875, Kensington, Paddington, Middlesex)
George Henry (b.abt 1877, South Kensington, Middlesex)
Harry (b.abt 1879, South Kensington, Middlesex)
Florence (b.abt 1882, South Kensington, Middlesex)
Ethel (b.abt 1884, South Kensington, Middlesex)
Charle(s) (b.abt 1886 South Kensington, Middlesex)
James (b.abt 1888 South Kensington, Middlesex)
Alice (b.December quarter 1890, Kensington, London )
William Bailey Clark married Isabella Sarah Ashfield in 1898 (I have some info about the Ashfields and Russell family if anyone is interested - Oxford area). William was a house painter, dyer and cleaner and baker. William and Isabella had children:
Lettica Isobel Clark (b. December quarter 1899, Kensington, London) & William Ashfield Clark (b. 19 January 1903, Kensington, London).

Looking for anyone researching a Clark family from NJ. I have a Charlotte Clark born c, 1785 in Burlington Co. NJ. She married a William Pullen born c 1785 also from Burlington. His father may have also been a William. Data is so slim this early--my only hope is to find someone looking for the same family. Many thanks, Bev

I am looking for any help breaking through brick wall with George William Clark.
He married Margaret Louise King (c 1896) and had three children, Frank, Florence, and Margaret (put up for adoption?) I know Margaret was born in Maine (1875) and died in Proviso, Illinois (1970). I have not found any info on him. His son Frank said that he was from South Dakota
Thank you

Hi Shirley,
I am descended from Thomas thru Joseph who had a son Riley Franklin Clark who then had a son Arthur Franklin Clark--my great grandfather. I have some pictures and lots more information on that entire line. Send me your address and I will mail copies of all that I have. I went to Tazwell, Tn to do some reasearch only to find that the courthouse was burned two or three times during the Civil War. You have to be halp mountain goat to live up there by the way.
