Very interesting--I'm also looking for a George W. Clark (b. 1846 NY). Had a son named Raymond LeRoy who married Erma Eliza Lathrop or I think he is the father of Raymond. I can't go back farther than Raymond for sure. But Raymond is living next to the Pratts in Wyoming Co., NY and Raymond's FIL married a Pratt and FIL's sister also married at Pratt so I know for sure that is a connection. Just hitting a dead wall with the Clark line. Raymond was my great-grandfather. Wish we could help each other!

Hi, I'm looking for the following family and hope you can help.
Charles Clark (b. 1825 NY d. Bef. 1880 NY) married to Abigail. Their children were: Mary Amerila (b. 1849 NY), Adelbert (b. 1851 in NY) and Sarah Belle (b. 1856 NY). Sarah Belle married John Pratt (son of Randall Pratt). From censuses, this family lived in the Wyoming Co., NY. John Pratt's sister Lodica married Austin W. Lathrop. A number of Pratts married Lathrops. Trying to tie this Clark family to Raymond LeRoy Clark (b. 1877 NY d. Abt. 1945 NY) married to Erma Eliza Lathrop (Austin Lathrop her father)(besides the Pratt/Lathrop connection).

My grgrgrandfather, Samuel Clark, was born in 1815 in Bullitt, KY. He married Rachel Minerva Sligar (also of Bullitt, KY) in 1839. They moved to Indiana where my grgrandfather, Lewis Cass Clark, and his siblings were born. I believe Samuel Clark's father was named Daniel and his mother Elizabeth (Brown) Clark but I have no information on them. Does anyone know anything about them?

I have an aunt that did extensive family research but we were only able to go back to the Clarks from Abington VA. gggrandfather is Isaac Grant Clark. His father was David Crabtree Clark. Would love any information you have if it appears in that book. THANKS!

Looking for Clarks from Abingdon VA. Great Grandfather was Isaac Felix Clark. He was the son of Isaac Grant Clark and Lucinda Duff Clark. I believe they moved to MS. and then to Florida.

Thanks for the offer - but after a little more searching, I have decided that we are not related through any of the males.
Now I'm weeding through the females to see if there is really a connection - or a past someone's hope.
