I also am a descendant of Nathan Clark and Abigail Satterlee through their son Col. Elisha Clark who married 3 times. I have quite a bit of info on Nathan, Abigail and Elisha and some on Cyrus. I'd like to fill in more info. on Cyrus if you'd be willing to share. I do have that he was a Private 16 Aug 1777 in Capt. Allen's Company during the Rev. War. 31 May 1779 he took the freeman's oath in Ira, VT, and on 12 Dec. 1787 he took the oath in Orwell, VT. He died in 1814 in Orwell, Vt. I believe in 1810 he was living with his son, Cyrus, in Morristown, Orleans, VT. He also received land in Isle La Motte, VT in 1779. Do you know who Sarah Clark's parents were and when they married? Any comments?

I am seeking any information pertaining to the families of John S. Clark
and Lucy Robins. John was born in NH in 1822 and Lucy was born in ME in
1829. They were residing at Peru, Maine as early as 1848. Lucy was the
daughter of John Robins and Polly (Last Name Unknown). John and Lucy were my great-great-grandparents. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I am seeking any information on the John Clark who was born in 1822 in
Greenland, Rockingham, NH, the son of Richard Clark and Misty Marston.
This information was obtained from the LDS website. My g-g-grandfather was born in NH in 1822 (according to the 1850 census) and I am trying to identify him.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The Peckham name is most familiar. I descend from Lydia Peckham of Dartmouth, MA who married first a Delano and then an Annable. I am not home with my file but I think her father was Stephen and her mother was Deborah Hammond.

It would be most helpful to let us CLARK/CLARKE researchers on this list

I am looking for info on Joseph C Clark 1840-1926. He was from Pittsburgh area, but married Jennie Craney in 1866. Her family was from Adams Twp., Butler Co. All I have is that his father was also Joseph Clark. Any connection to your Clarks?

I am now working on the hypothesis that the Jotham Clark living in Dearborn Co., IN from 1820 through 1850 is identical with the Jotham Clark in Benson, Rutland Co., VT in 1810, that he was the son or nephew of the Cyrus Clark (husband of Sarah Clark), son of Nathan Clark and Abigail Satterlee, living in Orwell, Addison Co., VT in 1790 and 1800, and that Jotham was the husband of Isis Nearing, daughter of Loami Nearing (husband of Eunice Naomi Dyer) who was also living in Benson, VT in 1810. Census records establish Jotham's birth in Vermont ca. 1778. Cemetery records prove his wife's name as Isis. Children of Jotham and Isis definitely include Sarah Jane Clark, m. Thomas Wright, and Amanda F. Clark, m. William Howard. Possible children also include Loami Clark, m. Margaret Brookover, Cyrus Clark, m. Marcelite Marguerite Pulaski, and Minerva Malvina Clark, m. Samuel Parker
I'd like to hear from anyone working on any of these individuals who might have thoughts or evidence bearing on the hypothesized connections.

Hello, I just found your post and I would like to communicate with you. Davis Clark was married at least five times. My branch descends from Georgenia Eliza Spence and Davis Clark. He also was married to two Priscillas and I think that is what your "Zella or Iella" came from. Sounds similar. He also married two sisters, Jane and Hannah Sinclair.
Married:
1st-Priscilla Singleton 30 May 1856
2nd-Georgenia Eliza Spence 6 Oct 1856 (my line)
3rd-Priscilla Blackett 15 Dec 1860
4th-Jane Sinclair 21 Nov 1863
5th-Hannah Sinclair 9 Nov 1870
Davis Clark served in the Indian Wars as a member of the Utah Territorial Militia and his papers are recorded.
I have been chasing this particular Clark for over 36 years.
