There are some links between the Houghs and the Partridges.

I am pretty sure that the Breckenridges and the Clarks and a whole bunch of other families were all related, to one another. Why don't you think about doing this. Since you have the family Bible with inscriptions on births, marriages and death, why don't you display them at ancestry.com so others can share in the wealth of information contained in the Bible? You might wish to go to other sites too and display these names and dates there as well. How many names are written in this Bible? RCB

I know this is an old post but... I just recently was given an old family Bible to help in my research of the Clark family. (yes, I know, I hit the mother load with that!) Anyway, the earliest entry in the Bible is Matthew Clark married to Temperance Clark. In looking at the rest of the entries, the name Breckenridge (as a middle and a first name)pops up all over the place. I am wondering if there is a connection?

I just joined this list recently and all it ever has is attachments. It was
my understanding there were to be no attachments on any rootsweb mailing
list. Is this correct or not??? Thank you

You are correct that Roowsweb mailing lists forbid and delete
attachments. However, since the transfer last year to a new server,
Rootsweb is randomly adding its own attachments to a very large number of
its mailing list messages. It's happening on literally dozens of
Rootsweb lists, and perhaps if enough of us complain to Rootweb about
this problem, they might do something about it. But don't hold your
breath.

Do you have a Robert Clark in your ancestry? He would have been Elijah's father and mother would have been Etta Mae Henderson. Lived in Texas at one time.

He immigrated to Minnesota and homesteaded there in Redwood county.
Thanks for the help.
