Well, I tried again, both from your link and the one I received this
morning, but I get a black screen with a line through it and a square about 1 X 1 in
the middle of the bottom half. The top upper left corner reads "Census
Complete".
This morning I was able to access the screen you spoke of with just my name
and email, but when I tried to view anything, I was sent to the "give us your
credit card screen."

I, too, got this information from another list. However, I have been unable
to access this site for free. They ask for my credit card information.
If someone could tell me what I'm doing wrong, I'll try again.

The black screen is correct. Scroll down and you should see a button labelled "continue"

I have very little information on my 4xgrgrandmother ANNAH CLARK. She was
first married to Wyman CUTLER and lived in Killingly Ct. From that
marriage she had at least 4 children by Wyman CUTLER they were: Webb,
Lucy, Rebecca and Asa CUTLER. Wyman CUTLER died in Killingly Ct. as a
young man in 1788. Annah CLARK then married Samuel HARRINGTON b: 1771 in
Killingly Ct. I know that in 1804 they were in Barre MA. because they had
my 3xgrgrandfather Johnathon HARRINGTON in Barre, MA. July 1804.
They had between Annah's CUTLER children and their own children the
following children: Webb CUTLER b: 3 Feb 1780 2. Asa Cutler b: 20 Mar
1783 3.Lucy CUTLER b: 25 Mar 1784 4. Rebecca CUTLER b: 17 Feb 1787 5.
Zerviah HARRINGTON b: 22 Apr 1791 6. David HARRINGTON b: 15 Apr 1793 7.
Joseph HARRINGTON b: 07 Apr 1795 8. Samuel HARRINGTON b: 31 Aug 1797
9.Priscilla HARRINGTON b: 11 Jul 1800 10.Celinda Ann HARRINGTON b: 15 Aug
1802 11.Johnathon Harrington b; 25 Jul 1804 12. Horatio N. HARRINGTON b:
09 Oct 1807. I have copies of land records and the Will of Wyman Cutler
and ANNAH and the CUTLER children are listed. What is odd is that on the
death certificates of the HARRINGTON children mother is listed as SOPHIA.
I am sure through many records that Annah CLARK, ANNAH CUTLER and ANNAH
HARRINGTON and SOPHIA HARRINGTON are all indeed the same person. I can
only surmise that her real name might have been Annah and she went by her
middle name or that perhaps Sophia was a nickname of some sort. Annah
Clark is such a common name that I have had very little luck finding any
information on her at all. I am hoping that by posting to the Clark and
Harrington list somebody will have heard of Annah any have some
information on her. Any information you could provide on her or any of
the abovementioned children would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in
advance. Renne Blocker
If you access the 1930 census from the ancestry site - the regular way you'd view the census, yes, it will ask you to sign up either for a free trial or for a subscription, so you will need a credit card.
If you access the 1930 census from the promotional link, it only asks for your name and email. No credit card.

To introduce myself to the list, I descend from two separate Alabama CLARK lines. One is the Clark circus family which retired in Tuscaloosa in the 1930s. The other is the family of William Sydney Clark of Montgomery and Eufala. Please reply if you share either or both of these lines.

Dear Trena,
This book records the descendants of Joseph Clarke of Westhorpe Suffolk who
emigrated to the American Colonies about 1637. He also had three brothers
come over - Rev. Dr. John, Thomas and Carew but none of them left any
descendants who lived past childhood. There is information on each of the
brothers up to their marriages and death.
So sorry, but I do not have any infomation which may help you with your
other lines of CLARKs.
Kindest regards,
Anne Clark-Stewart UE
Dear CLARKE/CLARK cousins,
I have been inundated with requested for copies of this file. Since so many
people would like to have it, I have been trying to get the latest info I
have updated on the file before I send it out. Due to family committments
this week, I will not be able to finish the updates for about 10 days.
Please hold on and I will send the updated file to each and every one of you
who have requested it.
At this juncture, I have received 67 requests, so the file will be sent out
as an attachment in separate e-mails on a first come first served basis.
Kindest regards,
Anne CLARK-STEWART UE

Anne,
Any originate in North Devon(shire)? Near Bideford or vicinity? Or ...
Norwich Norfolk post-1881, Shetland post-1847 and/or Glasgow post 1863 only,
if there are any? Any of those I would be interested in, but not if they
are only RI. I'd have no connection to any in the USA, unless it is known
they came from the areas stated in the UK, so no point in sending any. We
will be away for the next 14 days, so I'm in no hurry, if you should have
some from the UK. I've 3 separate lines of directly related CLARKs /
CLARKEs.
Cheers ...
Toni ~ Ontario
I have a transcribed copy of the 1902 George Austin Morrison book " The
CLARKE Families of Rhode Island" which was prepareded by my cousin, J.
Herring.
We are working on updating the file as we find out more info, but I am quite
willing to share what we have to date. It is a very LARGE file, as there
are 12 generations and 142 printed pages.
If anyone wants a copy via an e-mail attachment, please feel free to contact
me at leisurelodge(a)sympatico.ca
