Subject: [WORLD WAR II] 1944 photo of US Servicemen in England
I thought you might be interested in posting this on your list.
Hello All
I'm passing on a request for information on behalf of Howard Fuller, the photo-archivist at the Vale and Downland Museum
Wantage. [ENG]
One of their photographs, shows seven named US Servicemen posed outside the Supply HQ near Wantage (then in Berkshire )
probably in early Summer 1944. The USAF were based then at Grove Airfield approx two miles north of Wantage.
Their names written on the back of the print are: Lt Chester Clark, Atty. Donald Rosenfeld, Lt Bill Gaydon, Major Leon
Yewell, Lt Ray P. Wright, Capt J B Booth and Lt Walter Oberschowski.
If you know of a decendant of any of these men or can provided any further information on them please contact myself or
Howard Fuller at howard.fuller(a)ntlworld.com. A digital file copy of the photo attached to an e-mail can be made
available.
Thank you,
Trevor Hancock - GeorgeHortonFam(a)cs.com

Hi I was wondering if anyone has any info on Sarah CLARK? This is what I
have:
Sarah CLARK b. 14 Feb 1668 Wenham,MA d? md. Clement MOODY when? Her parents
were John Clark and ?. Did she have any siblings? Any info you give me will
be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Patti
Hi
Thought I would get a jiggle on with my Clark family. Most of the Parish recordings have been done by another relative and he kindly gave them to me, but I would like some history and to meet living relations to share.
My Grandmother Elizabeth Jane Clark was the daughter of Arthur Charles Clark and Susan Annie Clark nee Speed. At the time of my Grandmothers birth they were living at New Town in Stratford rego district of West Ham. Arthur is listed on my Grandmothers birth certificate as being a Painter. Elizabeth married Joseph Henry Lane at West Ham in 1906.
The earlier CLARK families came from Moreton in Essex. Not sure where before tht.
Anyone connected to this family at all?
regards
Edie
Just subscribed. Have taken bits of this family forward a few generations,
and now ready to try to work backwards.
Some of Levi's sisters and brother-in-law's were in White Co, Tennessee as
early as 1809. About 1830 they move to Putnam Co, Indiana. I believe it is
Levi's wife Susanna who is found there in 1850.
What are the names of Levi's children? Who is the father of Eli Clark
mentioned in Edward Clark's will?

Hi, I would like information on Vachel and Olive Clark who were born around 1733 and died around 1815. They left Orange or Chatham co. NC. around 1790 and went to Montgomery co. NC. Anyone with any information on this couple I would like to hear from. My great great great grandparents were John and Delilah Clark Petty who were married in Chatham co. NC. on June 13, 1834.Thank you.Duane McKenzie. dmckenze(a)hutchtel.net
