Hi Heather
Sorry it's taken me a while to respond. I have a Walter CLARK/E in my family tree born between 1878 and 1898 in Newfoundland.
Any idea WHERE the photo was taken ?
Would love a copy of the photo if you're willing to share it. Scanning and sending via e-mail is easiest.
Look forward to hearing from you.
Regards
Moireen

Charles Clark may have also served in the Spanish American War, but would have been based out of Chicago area. I have a copy of the Spanish American War 12th Minnesota Volunteer Infantry Roster, which lists a Charles Clark, Corporal, as living at 820 10th Street, Rochelle Illinois, in 1929. Charles was older than Frank. My mother thinks that Frank and Charles served together, which would mean to me that they were in the same unit....

Saw your message re Missouri Clark born 1865. I may have a connection. My mother had a sister Missouri who was born around this time, probably in Hocking County, Ohio. Parrents were John Clark and Diana White. There were nine children in this family. I have very little information on the family but I am always searching. John Clark's parents were Samuel Clark and wife Amanda, born in PA. They are listed in Ohio census of 1870.
Hope to hear from you.
Betty Lou
