Hi all! Sharing on the list is a great way to possibly
connect with a new cousin. Consider this a Roll call
from your List Admin. But PLEASE ......... DO NOT HIT
THE REPLY TO MY MESSAGE!
CHANGE the SUBJECT LINE to REFLECT YOUR OWN MESSAGE.
DO NOT put "ROLL CALL" as the sole subject line. List
the names in the subject line. It helps to include the
time frame and area.
Please be sure to customize your subject lines to
reflect your research:
In the message body, here are some good things to
list:
1. Names
2. Dates
3. Areas your ancestors lived in
4. Collateral family names that tie in with your main
surnames.
Keep your messages short and to the point, thus a
better chance that other
list members will read all of your message. If it is
too long they may not
read all of it.
If you have any successes or brick walls, please tell
us about them! Please
also remember NOT to hit the reply button without
changing the SUBJECT line to reflect what YOUR message
pertains to. For instance ----DO NOT hit the reply
button in response to my post.
Begin a new e-mail and put in your information and
send to the list. I thank you for the opportunity to
meet you all and hope that we can all work
together to find our ancestry!
Please remember that you do need to put something in
the SUBJECT line. Many people delete messages without
any subject. In addition, the automated system at
RootsWeb will most likely reject any posting without a
subject line.

Greetings all and especially to the new subscribers.
Now would be an excellent time to post about your
CLARK research for WV & VA.
Please use a good subject line with a FULL NAME- DATE
& area your CLARK ancestors were in. Please also
remember to CHANGE the SUBJECT line to reflect your
own message. Good luck in your search!
