Dear List:
Anybody got any ideas of clues for County Louth-Clarke/Clerks?
Searching for any clues in County Louth regarding my
g.g.grandfather-Laughlin Clarke. He possibly was the son of Thomas Clerk and
Rose Riley of Darver Civil Parish. They had 5 sons and their Loughlin Clerk
was born around April 1805. My g.g.grandfather came to America in 1836 and
settled in Sept. 1840 in Cumberland, Alleghany County, MD. He married twice.
First marriage was to Sarah Diehl and by 1848 they moved to Preston Co., VA
which later became Preston Co., WV. Sarah died in Preston Co, VA and
Laughlin Clarke married a 2nd time to my g.g.grandmother-Mary Catherine
Stemple of Stemples Ridge/Aurora, Preston Co., VA-WV.
So anybody who reads this let me know if you have any clues regarding
Laughlin Clarke of County Louth.
thanks
MB of PA
I have placed my Clark Family on Rootsweb.com under WorldConnect, the family
of John Wesley Clark, I don't know what other information to pass along for
your information, but thanks anyway.
