Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.

Hi all, I have a request for all of you. PLEASE: Edit
out all non-essential parts of emails when responding
to someone on this list.
Make the subject line appropriate to your response.
Replying with the entire email just wastes bandwidth,
especially on email lists.
In addition, on email lists, it costs wasted space in
the archives of that list. Take the time to edit out
what is not necessary.
PLEASE do not make my job harder by having to monitor
repeat "offenders" of these basic List guidelines. I
do not have the time to have to edit anymore messages
that are not edited properly before posting to the
list.
So in the future if you send a message to the list
without deleting all the excess previous post, posting
privileges may be suspended for you. This list has
close to 400 subscribers and it will be soooo nice to
see more posts to the list without the "extra stuff".
Thanks for your cooperation!
Thank you, Kathie Harrison

Thanks but I was born and raised in western Maryland
and I have most of
his
descendants current but I can't get back past George
W. There was
another
George W in Coneybut he passed away later. If he was
born in Maryland,
it
was probably just north of Martinsburg, but that is
speculation. I
have
been over the Census sheets buts kids names were not
listed by name in
the
1840 Census.
I subscribe to the Allegany and Garrett County lists
and several Clark
lists.
Thanks,
Leon

There certainly must have been several George W. Clark's and we have one in
my husband's family b. 1848 in Giles Co., TN. Parents were William Clark and
Temperance Tucker. George and his wife, Mary Short had 8 children.
